While calling in my 3rd RRoD to 1-800-4MY-XBOX tonight, the tech guy on the other end was trying to "shoot the shit" and find out what my favorite Xbox game was. The conversation went something like this...
XBOX TECH: "My computer is moving really slow tonight. What's your favorite Xbox game?"
ME: "Well, I play Battlefield quite a bit."
XBOX TECH: "Yeah, that's OK. My favorite is Halo 4."
ME: "What was that?"
XBOX TECH: "Halo 4. It's my favorite."
Yup. If the tech call center idiots are going to try and "bond" with pissed off callers, at least give these guys a script or something. Sheesh.
