Must say I prefer the NA one. Ryu's facial expression looks horrid.
Sony, we will NEVER forget nor forgive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G0LlXv-nyI
I too prefer the North American one and in the actual game Chun Li's character model looks a hell of a lot better than Ryu's anyway.
Same artwork for the PlayStation3 release I'm afraid. And we're still getting the crap Ryu cover.
What I really want to see is the Japanese box art.

Isn't there a limited edition scheduled as well? Hope this has better art.
The North American one looks better. Ryu looks like he's taking a shit.
Let's be honest, both covers are US-NES-Mega Man-cover-art bad. And like Mega Man, it won't affect the sales or the gameplay one bit.
kinda crappy, kinda really crappy
Crap, I gotta get a 360 if I want the better cover!
Oh no! The truck have started to move!!
woah...the Ryu cover creeps me out.
Actually, the more I look at them, the more I do like the NA cover.
ALL the characters are plainly visible in the swirl behind Chun-Li. The swirling effect on Ken's Hadoken ruins the background, on the European version. Not to mention, the color on the NA version is a bit sharper, and cleaner.
But I also hafta agree with AA... They're both pretty hum-drum, for a Street Fighter game.

You dare liken the U.S. Mega Man cover to this mediocrity? These Street Fighter IV covers are unfit to even scrape such a legendary horror.

I don't like either one.
Since when did Ryu become a unibrow monkey?
The Collector's Edition has been announced for the 360 and PS3.
This is the UK edition, I assume the USA will still get the Chun-Li cover on the actual game.
Includes:
- Soundtrack CD
- Prima Hintbook full of Udon art
- Voucher for five downloadable costumes
PlayStation3 exclusive content:
- Blu-ray Disc containing a HD 56-minute Street Fighter anime and trailers
- Ryu figure
Xbox360 exclusive content:
- HD anime (DVD I assume?), minus the trailers
- Crimson Viper figure
Here in the UK, you get both figures in each set. Ha! ;P
I also found the rather nice Japanese cover art on Play Asia:
