    Exclamation F-16 Sentai Wireless Controllers

Does anyone have these Genesis wireless controllers? I got a pair from ebay today. The ebay ad said they were tested working. I dont have a Genesis at the moment but will be getting one in the mail soon. I tried testing them on my Master System but couldnt get any response from them. Most wireless controllers have an on button but I cant seem to locate one.. I really thought this would work with Master System since regular Genesis controllers do. any ideas?

have you managed to locate the battery compartment on the controller the power switch MAY be located inside of it or something wierd, i cant imagine them not having some kind of power switch.

Is that possible with the Genesis? I don't think the 9 pin setup has any sort of powering capability wired in?

I would think the source would be on either the receiver or the controllers themselves... but I know not of the device.

the controllers would have to be powered to transmit data. while there are passive setups i don't think they would work very well in this instance as they usually require very close proximity to save on power and wouldnt be able to transmit data fast enough.

Yea I checked inside the battery compartment, and theres no switches. I was thinking maybe you had to hold some buttons down to get it to come on, but havent had any success. It came with two controllers and they are both unresponsive. Is it possible because they are wireless they are only compatable with Genesis and not master system?

The possibility does exist. I just don't think its Highly likely, but you never know. I thought my jaguar was dead when it wouldn't power on without a cart in it. Stranger hardware choices have been made hehe.

if it has standard screws I'd say your best bet is pop that sucker open snap a few pictures and post them. I'm sure I or someone else here would be able to just trace the leads around in the picture and get some kind of idea perhaps.

Arg got a Genesis today, and no luck with the controllers. I held the start button down for a long time and the power LED turned on for a milisecond then shut off.
