Radiant's Ongoing Ebay Auctions
Yup. I got it for 30$.. I ran out with it. It needs work, but I have friends who are willing to help me get it restored.
Now that I have the service manual with schematics and such.. it'll be that much easier!
I also think it would be a nice thing to package with it if I ever do decide to sell it. How many of these could be floating around, eh?

I saw a bag of NES accessories behind a counter at a thrift store yesterday. I aksed the guy how much and he said... "Oops, someone sold an NES without the accessories... how about $4.14? I said sure, and was given the following: AC adapter, 2 controllers, and zapper.
But the main reason I told this exceedingly boring story was... why the fuck was a quoted a price of "uhhh, $4.14?" before tax? This thrift shop's prices are all like that, and I don't understand it. I don't even know why this bothers me.
One of the thrifts I hit regularly has odd prices like that. I haven't noticed a pattern to it other than everything is *.20 or *.80, and maybe one other. May just be so it is quick to ring stuff up. One time something I had was *.60 clearly marked and they told me they don't have anything priced that way. So maybe it is a little bit of a way to prevent price tampering? I dunno, not very hard system to beat, but maybe it works sometimes.
My find for the day is a boxed PC SW Tie Fighter. Has inserts, but no manual, 3.5" disks. Also inside is the big box 3.5" SW Tie Fighter Defender of the Empire Campaign Disk (2 disks actually). Anyone know anything about this or value? I've not heard of it, and no copies have sold on fleabay recently.

Fallout 3 came in the mail from Gamestop.com today (yay free overnight shipping!). Not really a find, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
Not exactly game related, but I did get a sealed copy of the Steamboy DVD from KB Toys for $4.99.
Anything Katsuhiro Otomo is too good to pass up at such a price.
In Heaven, everything is fine.
Picked up a loose Game Boy Advance for 1.99 yesterday at goodwill. Also recently picked up another cheap copy of Super Mario 3, and found my first Bally Arcade/Astrocade cart. It's the R5 Basic cart, CIB in decent shape.
Today's finds:
Well, there was one guy with a huge binder of PS1 games for $2 each! I wanted to buy a lot but only ran away with:
Digimon World 1 (PS1, disc + manual, for eBay)
A bit later I stumbled upon one guy who had PS2 games for $8. I ended up buying:
Karaoke Revolution Volumes 1, 2, & 3, KR Party, and We Love Katamari for $35. He also had several DDR games but I was flat broke after that. The KR games are going to eBay (they're fun but I don't have a microphone and I suck at singing) but Katamari stays with me. Woot!
ATARI 2600 BACHELOR PARTY by MYSTIQUE.
Scored on ebay Winning bid: US $10.49
They listed in the "Adults only" area.
LoZ: Majora's Mask Vhs($1.00 on ebay) and Full Spectrum Warrior demo($5.00 on ebay), the second to last demo I need to complete my xbox demo collection. Special thanks to bcks007 for pointing out the Xbox demo to me.

I bought this today off of CL for $50. Obviously it is broken, but still, I think it is worth it and pretty dang spiffy. I actually live 2 blocks from a neon sign shop, so I'll pop in to see how much a repair would be, if it is possible. Probably more than I want to spend, though. These pics are from the ad...
I also picked up one of the Shaq-sized X-box controllers, and SMB2, Rescue, and Kid Icarus all three boxed and pretty nice, all for $21. A bit pricey, but I so seldom see nice condition NES boxes that I couldn't help myself.
This night just gets better and better first the Phils win the Series and now my dad walks in with a bag of stuff from a friend at work.(Hopefully he strikes again, this is the second time he has brought stuff for me because he knows I LOVE videogames)
This haul....
-X-Com UFO Defense - PS1 - Complete
-Zelda Majoras Mask(CE) - N64 -CIB
-2 N64 Controllers(first party)
-2 N64 Memory Cards(3rd party)

-PC Gamepad(Gravis Gamepad Pro)
-Dreamcast console with 2 controllers plus VMU and Rumble Pack, no hookups though.
-Genesis Controller

I'm overall extremely happy tonight.
just got a Colecovision lot and it is massive paid $100.00
These pics are from the ad...
also got a ps1 cib dual shock $10.00
passed on a snes kiosk offered $100.00 thinking I would pay $200.00
the guy wanted $300.00 pass the guy said thay sell for 300.00 on Ebay so I want that. I told him whatever, thay been posted for $300.00 but thay never sell because it is always local pick up so I gave him my number call me if you change your mind.
Do you remember our talk about the Sega Pica kiosk a few weeks ago? Because in this case you are sitting on another potential goldmine. Nintendo fanboys would pay hundreds for this. So if the repairs can be done for under $50(puting your total investment at no more than $100) I'd go for it. I mean, how often do you see these things on ebay or craigs list? That is one awesom find. Now if only you had a yellow test cartridge to bundle it with.
