wonderswan collecting

Looking at getting into this little guy would like to know the good/collectible games. Should I bother to get all three system variants (and the various limited editions?) Thanks, oh and how about your collections I'd like to see them

I've been collecting Wonderswan for a while but my collection is still modest. I made a fairly large mistake by going for a Swan Color before a SwanCrystal- basically go for the Crystal and only collect the other two for completion's sake, you won't find yourself playing on them a great deal. The Final Fantasy Limited editions are pretty sweet from a collector's standpoint though.

Myself, I mainly collect puzzle games, my favourite by miles being Xi Little- pick it up and book a week off work. Seriously. Otherwise, a very general rule for the WS is 'the later it was released, the rarer it's likely to be'.

Xi Little rocks and ditto on sticking with the Crystal. I still have my original green wonderswan and it's an absolute pain in the ass to play. People that complained about the GBA screen being too dark would cry if they had gotten their mittens on that sucker.

Still, there were some pretty good black and white games released.

I've always regretted not picking up Judgment Silversword and Dicing Knight when I could have. Hey, at least Judgment Silversword is available at Play Asia right now...but yea...the price..

I agree, stick with the Swan Crystal which is backward compatible with all games. The other two would be only if you want to collect. Here are some games that I have that are good games to consider.

Great little system and glad to have it in my collection.
