Default Anyone with a copy of MAMEUI32 0.125 stable?

It would be greatly appreciated if someone had a copy of this emulator for a core 2 quad processor running 32bit xp.

I have an unstable version and some games crash on me for no reason. I was wanting a stable version to see if it is my rig or the emu.

    Thanks

I have a copy of UI125 that I'd be happy to share ... but as far as "stability" ... it's going to vary from rig to rig and rom to rom.

You could have bad rom dumps ... it could be something on the hardware end of your computer OR the roms that are crashing might just be plain buggy when running in UI125 ...

I keep about 4-5 versions of Mame 32 and UI running on my Mame cab ... every new version adds compatibility for some roms but damages it for others, for example -

Donkey Kong with integrated audio won't run without major stuttering/frame rate issues on MAME UI for me, but runs perfectly on an old MAME 32 (can't remember which one) that requires the audio sample WAV file.

Drop me a PM with your email and I'll send it over if you want to try it.

And when the heck did I ever say I liked turtles?

You're right about each version of MAME having varying compatibility for some roms. I know they strive for accuracy above all else in their emulation but sometimes you wish they could leave well enough alone.
