I have a version of FIFA International Soccer for the Genesis that has a label embedded on the cover that says limited edition 1st round. Does anyone know why it has a limited edition emblem on it. Was it from the 1st print run of the game?
1st Print Run of EA games for the Genesis was several thousands, if not tens of thousands. They are not worth anything and a whole marketing ploy done when Sports and Baseball Cards were being collected into a mainstream frenzy.

I know they are not worth anything. I just wanted to know if it has any differences from the regular version besides the cover. I'm guessing that it doesn't.
So the only reason it has the emblem is because it was from the 1st print run of the game?
Yep, and actually it is easier to find one of the first print runs than not most of the time.
