I hate how people call that a "massive collection" while they barely have 50 games. I could understand over 100 games, but 50 games spawned over 4 systems (and why does the NES and SNES have no games ?) a regular collection, that's an average of 13 games by system.

I love how people misuse the word "huge" when describing four or five games and a system. HOLY CRAP WOW HUGE DREAMCAST LOT!!!! Better bring a forklift.

In my local section, the usual "outrageous" prices are for PS2's and games. People still believe that you can get $5-10 for old sports games. It's even worse when they want $75 for a PS2 Slim that you can buy at Gamestop for $50-60 used.

On the opposite of terrible, here's a good deal that I might end up getting:

Xbox Live 1 month Gold Card - $10 (Dyer)

    Date: 2010-07-29, 1:15PM CDT

Got this for repairing my Xbox. I need the money for Warped Tour otherwise I'd use it.
Hmm, I could either pay Xbox $8 for a month of Xbox Live or pay this guy $10 for the same service. This is such a hard decision.

Opposite of what the thread is actually about but...

    http://stlouis.craigslist.org/zip/1867581389.html

Found it one day too late...Not that I would have been able to get it home, and I would still had to have been lucky to contact/pick-up first. Even if it was gutted it would still be a good deal.

Not game-related. Not sure whether to or about this one.

A PS2 with accessories and 32 games (mostly sports titles) for an incredible $175. I don't think I can resist such an excellent deal... :\

    http://athensga.craigslist.org/vgm/1868945095.html

I kind of feel sorry for this guy. He constantly posts this PS2 and no one is buying it at his $50 price. I should offer him $20 to be nice.

    Saw this one today:

Wow what a find!! Cleaning out a room full of my music gear I found a box labeled Sega. To my amazement the game system works. Little musty cus of the box sitting in a bit of water but still working and needs a bit of a wipe down.

5 Games. Soul Caliber, Ready to Rumble and 3 sport games.

Heard this was a collectors item now. The graphics still are really impressive and there are a decent amount of good games still available for the system.

$100/obo Cash and Local Pickup Only.

saw this ad of someone selling a ps2 with final fantasy 7

"Dont care so much for the ps2 but it comes with the game....FF7 final fantasy vii og...great playable condition no not scratched up ...all. cgi works.....I will trade the game for weed...or 100$ obo...u can have the ps2 free slim version...i dont use it ne more...was holding on to the game but i dont care ne more...get back to me today"

This guy must really want his weed, not to mention the fact that he puts his actual phone numbers on the craigslist ad (I didn't paste that part here)

Not too bad of a deal there actually, despite it being all racing games and American Idol. Not to mention it comes with that Atari thing!

Sega Genesis system with Sega CD in good working condition. 11 Sega CD games and 24 Sega Genesis games all come with case and manual. It also comes with Game Genie, Sega CD Backup, 2 wireless controllers, Arcade Stick, and 1 wired controller. Email me for the list of games. Make Reasonable Offer.
I emailed asking for the list of games and a price he was thinking about for the lot this is what I got back.

I've looked them all up on ebay and the total price was $450 but I will take $350. All come with case and manual. Perfect working order.

    List of games:
Batman Returns CD, Sherlock Holmes Vol. 2 CD, Sewer Shark CD, Cobra Command , Game Genie , Toy Story, Sega CD Backup, Sampras Tennis, Jurassic Park CD, Spiderman the Kingpin, AH-3 Thunderstrike, Racing Aces CD, Bouncers CD, Mansion of Hidden Souls CD, Ecco the Tides of Time CD, Rise of the Dragon , Spiderman, Sonic CD, Ecco the Dolphin CD, Stellar-Fire CD, Jungle Strike, Power Rangers the Movie, Chester Cheetah Wild Wild Quest , Sonic 3D Blast , Columns, 3 copies of Sonic the Hedgehog , Sonic the Hedgehog 3 , Raiden Trad, Shinobi III, Robocop 3 , Toejam & Earl , Mortal Kombat II , X-Men , SpiderMan, Bonanza Brothers, Sonic and Knuckles.
What should I reply back with?

Or am I missing something (I only see 3~4 things that go for more than $5) and the lot is worth that?
