I've been laughing at an Atari 400 listing on Ebay for weeks now:

If the US made 2600 is big, then the US made 400 must be really big O_o

You'd think it was 1990 right now.

I replied to the ad offering to sell him a system with over 20 games for $200, I'll let you all know if he actually buys it.
Let's see if I can post in the correct thread this time.
This is a little bit off topic but I thought I'd ask here. How would you sell an item on Craigslist when the other person wants to see it on and working in person, but not have to show them where you live? I can't think of any public meeting places where you would be able to plug in a random extension cord (at least not nearby, no flea markets within a hundred miles) outside.
This was specifically related to a large (30 inch LCD) display I was looking to sell, where people are SUPER picky about discoloring and dead pixels, but could apply to anything electronic that needs to be plugged in, like say, a Vectrex.
I live out in the country so there's not really anywhere other than business that might have power outlets outside.

Could one output enough power to run both a large LCD and a broken old laptop with no working battery (to output video to the display)?
Could it possibly draw enough power to damage the car? Or would the car's fuses (or perhaps even a fuse in the inverter) prevent that from happening?
I never used one myself, but it should work fine.
Picking one at random;

The customer reviews are saying they've run LCD TVs, PS2s, laptops, and other stuff off them without problems. I have no idea what would be a good model to buy though.
I think I'll get the Belkin one and pray that the fuse in my 7 year old car can handle that many amps. Would be nice to have one anyway.
Thanks a lot and back to our regularly scheduled incredulity.

I think the Zelda: 4 Swords is a good deal at $5 BUT, it just erks me horribly when people misspell and have horrible grammer. It's important (to me anyway) to sound professional when trying to sell something.
