... That would explain why I friggin' love Art of Fighting. That was the first NeoGeo game I ever played. The second was Eightman and I hate it.
As for Sengoku, I wish 1 didn't cheat so much when it came to fighting guys with swords. 2's OK, it has great music. 3's my favorite. I don't care how much people complain about it, it's awesome.
Got an Aero Fighters PCB that I play on my egret from time to time, still like the second better. What shooters do you prefer on the Neo? Out of the shooters I have I find myself playing it over:
Last Resort
Blazing Star (Although I'm probably in the minority on this one)
Ghost Pilots
Most CPS-2 shooters will get billing over AF2 at my place (Dimahoo more than anything else), but there are very few shooters I like more than Aero Fighters 2, its a solid game.
Blazing Star is the best shooter on the Neo Geo. Once you get into it and understand the scoring it really is a great game. I'm just completely bewildered by the last boss, I mean really, WTF? It also has the best video game intro sequence in the history of the world.
Pulstar and Last Resort are also highly enjoyable. One of my mates is really into Pulstar though; he'll happily sit there for hours blasting away.
Prehistoric Isle 2 is a pretty good blaster too, and rescuing people keeps it interesting.
Oh, and of course, Viewpoint. Top game.
I've been trying ot find an english MVS copy of Viewpoint for awhile now. I've always been amazed by the graphics, it reminds me of a suped up Zaxxon (giving creedence to the rumor that Zaxxon Motherbase 2000 was really a sequel to Viewpoint).
As previously mentioned Legend of Suckass Joe is BAAAAD (although I still want a copy for some reason). I also think Fight Fever might go down as one of the worst games ever made. The rest of the Neo Geo library has some so-so titles in it (like Ninja Combat), but I'd hardly call them bad.

Magician Lord is pretty brutal.
I hated Mutation Nation. That and Burning Fight were very poor Beatem ups, a genre I usually adore. Magician Lord and Sengoku 1 were also ass. I haven't played most of the others that have been mentioned. I don't mind Top Hunter all that much.
Bacon, Bacon, Bacon, IT'S BACON!!!!
I would have to put in my two cents and say that Jockey Grandprix was terrible as I own it complete and its a waste of space. Same with Ninja Combat. Fighters were the best on it.
