I hit the last non-GameCrazy Hollywood Video in the South Bay a couple days ago. As most are, they were pretty cleaned out - this looked like it was one of the stores where they got rid of EVERYTHING. Nothing spectacular but I did grab three GameCube games.
GC - Bomberman Jetters (no booklet)
GC - Driven (complete)
GC - StarFox Adventures (no booklet)
Also had an unrelated pickup yesterday, NFR Guitar Hero On Tour cartridge from a display kiosk. I don't want it so it'll be tossed in my Buying and Selling thread. Anyone interested can contact me in advance however.
Blasto! for PS1 for $2.50
You don't know? He strong arms people with his Nes zapper. The mere site of the orange and grey plastic can cause people to hand over their rare and valuable demo carts without a second thought. Or maybe one of his friends just gave it to him. But I like my version better

Snagged a minty Dynamite Slugger for the NeoGeo Pocket Color for about $10.
My latest finds (It's been a while...):
- Hyperscan Controller (New): $1
- Marvel Heroes (Hyperscan. New): $3
- Booster packs for Marvel Heroes (Hyperscan. New): $3 each
- ATX Motherboard w\ 2Ghz AMD Athlon processor (Unknown if working): $5
- 380W PC power supply: $5
- Gamecube-to-PC controller converter: Free
I was going to buy a Hyperscan system last week, but I'm glad I held out, because if that motherboard works, I can dig out one of my PC shells and build a more powerful custom PC that what I'm currently using.
I don't believe that's the same game.
The ps blasto is a 3rd person shooter starring Captain Blasto, an extremely muscular, alien-fighting, dimwitted captain who’s always in the mood for a babe from any solar system most specifically in the Planet Uranus.Voiced by the late Phil Hartman .
On Friday, there was a video game sale at my workplace. It was promoting/raising money for some local animal shelter. The interesting thing is that all of the merchandise they were selling was donated by Atari. Unfortunately, that meant that most of the stuff was "ehh" at best, and crap at worst. (Enter the Matrix anyone?) However, I did buy some game related shirts from them. They were 2 for $5. The first one is black with the logo of the most recent Alone in the Dark game on front of it. The other is a bit more fun, in my opinion. It has the logo for Dragonball Z: Burst Limit on the front, and across the back it says "Kamehameha!". (For those who don't know, "Kamehameha" is one of the attacks used by Son Goku in the DBZ anime.)
Also, yesterday my sister and I went shopping together in the next town over. We went into a small game shop in town (which has waaaay better prices than EB games), to see if they had anything good. I was debating whether to pick Lunar: Dragon Song & one of the DDR games for the PS2 (I can’t remember the title right now), but my sister convinced me to leave the DDR game ‘cause we already have 3 different ones, and we hardly play them enough as it is. I left Lunar: DS too, because I recalled that most reviewers said that its gameplay wasn’t as good as its predecessors. Then I browsed through the N64 selections and found a cart only copy of the Treasure made game, Mischief Makers. I still have fond memories of playing Dynamite Headdy on the Genesis, and it was only $6.99 (plus tax, of course), so I picked it up.
Next, we went to a Pawnshop because I wanted to buy a copy of High Seas Havoc for the Genesis that I had seen there sometime last year. I figured that since the game isn’t very popular or well known (not to mention insanely tough for a platformer), the chances were pretty good that it would still be there. I looked through their games display case, and yep, it was still there. According to the silver label on the back it’s an ex-rental from some old Microplay location. However, the cart itself is in near mint condition, and it even still has the manual! The funny thing is that the game came in a plastic rental case that says “Super NES” on it!
