The game itself is NOT censored. Just the cover art. The original had Alice wielding her knife, and her dress was blood-stained. In later releases, the blood was gone and she had a different weapon.

Thanks, and dang! This game was totally on my radar when it came out, I just never picked it up. I do remember the original art; at one point I was holding that version in my hands at Target, but decided to get it later. Never did until I saw it at Goodwill, and it is the second version (but not the jewel case release). The difference just never occurred to me.

Oh well, I haven't actually ever gotten around to playing it, but its been on my list for too long, so I better get to it.

Tonight I picked up a Sega Master System model II. At $20.00 it was a little pricey, but the system, gamepad and light phaser are all in perfect condition. It didn't come with any games other than the Alex Kidd built-in game, so I'm gonna have to get advice from fellow DP'ers about what games to pick up.

That's the only time I've ever found porn at a thrift store.

(And no, I didn't buy it.)
I was at a junk store in BFE Nara, Japan a few years ago. Nothing much of interest to me in the store, so I looked over at the DVD/CD/VHS racks. There were a bunch of weird VHS cases with what looked to be homemade labels -- so I grabbed one off the rack. Scat porn! Yuk, looked at a different one, ALSO scat porn!

It looked like a perfectly normal junk store, but they had at least 50 scat porn tapes. (I'm assuming the other similarly labeled tapes had similar content.)

    PSP Dvd
    Summer Trial Disc
    Tokyo Game Show Sony Dvd
    Armored Core Test Operation Disc
    Armored Core Highlight Disc

Rare variant cover to Next Generation magazine with Zelda cartridge cover
Several Star Wars themed game magazines and one with the Original Soul Calibur

More game magazines from three different lots I won. Most of these are extras though.

Damn, I wish I could find a Master System II, much less one for $20. I just don't like the look of the original casing, and the Master System II just looks so much rounder.

Anyway, I haven't had time to keep up with posting finds lately due to work, but all this stuff was acquired this month.

    Circuit City
    Hail To The Chimp (360) - $8.96

    Sears
    Bionicle Heroes (GC) - $4.97
    Crash of the Titan (PS2) - $10.97
Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2 with pad (360) - $27.97
    Flipper Critters (DS) - $4.97 (X2) (1 for me, 1 for my 6 year old cousin's birthday)
Soul Calibur Legends (Wii) - $14.99
The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (GC, Player's Choice) - $10.97 (for my other cousin for Christmas)
Tony Hawk's Underground (XB, Best Of Platinum Hits) - $2.97

    Target
    Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli (PS2) - $9.98
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes (PSP) - $9.98

I'm just going to settle in this weekend and play...
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

    Default Auction 11-20-08

$17.50 (which ended up actually being $19.25 with 10% buyer's premium)

They had another lot of 8 games that I lost (to a silent bid, probably the same person I had to beat for the games I got!) with my max bid being about $25 for the lot I didn't win, it had (all probably complete in box but Super Punch Out was the only one I actually checked) Super Punch Out, Both Ken Griffey games, NBA Jam, NBA Jam T.E., 2 EA Football games & some Nascar game for the N64. I probably should have tried bidding it up 10 more dollars but I only wanted to bid about what I was thinking Super Punch Out would go for on eBay (I was taking an educated guess at $25) and didn't need it has I have a complete copy I bought on clearance years ago, I also only had about $90-100 on me so I couldn't have gone much more then $10 more then I did. I wouldn't mind grabbing the NBA Jam & Ken Griffey games in the wild complete for about 2ish each if I saw them but missing them here wasen't that big of a deal like getting the lot I won was. They also had 2 PS1s each in the box (one being audiophile type with the red, white & yellow on the back of the sytem), a Genesis 1, a Genesis 2 & a lot of Genesis game (all sports crap not even a Sonic game!) with some factory sealed fishing game for the Game Boy in with the Genesis games. No Playstation games to go with the systems.
That's the first Griffey game with the bad glare in the top center. The college football game & N64 Nascar are the only games missing manuals.

I saw that the auction place I got some SNES stuff back in September had some video game stuff listed in the paper again and I was having deja vu so I was fully expecting to see the same stuff I saw from September which I was right about, the only video game stuff that wasen't back on the auction block again was the stuff I got from them in September lol I was only interested in this and they had the GameBoy fishing game in with them this time instead of with the Genesis stuff.

This was more of a price I would expect games like these to go for at an auction around here, about $15 give or take a few dollars. Makes me think even more so that something fishy was going on last auction. I was only around for about 15 minutes this auction but I did notice some junk go cheap ($1-4) as I would normally expect at an auction and not just about every pile of old used toys or junk going for $25-30 or just what seems to be entirely too much.

    FLEA MARKET

Whew, such a cold day..I bundled up real well but my dad didn't..he froze...We scooted through isle after isle, there were plenty of vendors bearing the cold.
N64 with a few good games $40.00...N64 with 18 games $130.00...Yamaha boxed motorcycle videogame steering wheel $20.00 but the box was trashed..
    Xbox games..common stuff....sports games galore..
    PS2 in Styrofoam inserts,no box..$80.00

I picked up a sealed/new set of Mega Block set for my Son $10.00..the lady to the left had a Pirate set, smaller then the set I got for $10.00 but she wanted $25.00.. pass..

We were walking out to leave,me trying not to freeze my dad any longer..I see a bunch of teenagers hovering over a table..I hear the word Nintendo...hmm.let me go look..
The 17-18 year old girl pokes at the Nintendo on the table and says ,"this is what I have but it's broke"..I said,I can fix it but she didn't reply.
The vendor had a nice assortment of games spanning from old to new(a nice this to see)...The NES on the table was $25.00 with your choice of game..
so I grabbed it and TETRIS since I like to sell TETRIS with my Nintendo's..He did have a slew of games for choice...Rescue Rangers etc....I assume Tom Sawyer costs more then TETRIS but I wasn't trying to be greedy.
The system came with everything shown and it's in excellent condition so I'm happy..

    NES $25.00
    Mega Blocks $10.00
    FOOD $15.00(dad bought for me

Looks like someone gave up their PC collection at the thrift. 3 were 2.80 and 1 was 3.80. Big bummer is D2 is missing the game. Anyone know anything about Stonekeep? I've never heard of it, but picked it up because it has a hardbound manual/book, and the box is cool w/ the hologram and the top has a 'peaked roof' shape.

I also picked up an N64 w/ 2 good/great controllers, mem expansion, and ac (no a/v) for 10 at the same stop.

From CL yesterday I got a SNES w/ 4 'meh' games and 4 controllers for $25. I didn't know it was missing the a/c adapter, so that kind of sucks.

i'm not sure if stonekeep holds any value, but its one of the few pc games i ever played all the way , its a pretty challenging dungeon crawler,
if you want to get rid of it let me know (i threw the box away like a retard when I was younger and only have the game disk now)

This one is going in my collection, though, as it completes my Diablo set.

Just got 3 snes games at goodwill for $3.99 each-

    -Mystical Ninja
    -Brain Lord
    -Soul Blazer

They were all marked $4.99 but the lady accidently rang up 4 games instead of 3. So she had to call up a manager to delete it and when she re-did it she did 3 @ $3.99.

.50 each at a flea market.
    Burger Time
    Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
    Yoshi

There were also 2 NES's without cords, systems only and 7 controllers for $5 but some jerk snagged them from under me while I was going through the games.
