Wow! I'd never heard about that before.

The movie theater I go to has it. It's House of the Dead with Borg, not much more. Still neat.

I've played that Voyager light gun game. I didn't care for it, to be honest. I tried it on freeplay at an arcade auction, and after a while I just got bored.

I have always liked Star Trek: Shattered Universe. It's like a lost spin-off series with Sulu as captain. The main problem with it is that they didn't balance the missions worth a damn. Some are incredibly boring, with shooting asteroids while dealing with nearly endless waves of Birds of Prey, and then there's the level that damn near made me pull my hair out where you have to battle four Constellation class battlecruisers with your little shuttlecraft. When you've finally defeated them all and think the level's going to end, an Orion pirate ship warps in and attacks. I'm pretty good at that game, and it's still a trial to get through that level, even on easy. And the Planet Killer level was insanely hard too. Then, back to shooting asteroids in a long drawn out level. Still, I've always liked 3D space shooters, and one as well presented as Shattered Universe had me hooked just to see what else was coming my way. You just have to play it on easy level, and keep replaying the same dang levels until you beat them. Once you finish, it's pretty satisfying.

Hey that looks great. But you'd think the Borg would just adapt to the phaser frequencies. wtf? Voyager must have some pretty fancy standard issue phasers.

Already got it and uploaded all of the videos to YouTube. Now I just need to scan this damn box in at 300dpi and such. My undersized scanner does not like old PC game boxes.

edit - the Star Trek: The Next Generation NES game that was basically a bridge simulator thingy was funner than beans, too! Totally forgot about that sucker. Didn't much care for the SNES version, though.

    Some of my favorites:

    EGATrek: Totally awesome DOS game.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Very, very cool space sim on SNES and 32X.

Star Trek 25th Anniversary was pretty cool on NES. And the Next Gen SNES game was pretty fun, if not a bit hard. I haven't played any newer ones, but those ones were fun.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture on Vectrex was great. Must recommend.
