WHERE DID THEIR HAIR GO?
well the dude need to research a bit before putting a claim on the knowledge, because there is more then 1 of these carts. because i know someopne i met off DP that has one. so the 50k one of a kind if out of the question. and 50k? its worth ruffly 10k
Too bad he doesn't have a "best offer" option. That way I could bid $1 and a free happy meal of his choice.

zeldas_nexus - You say you know someone else who has one of these. Please tell me who this is. I have been searching the internet for years and have never come across anyone who owns one except for the person I got mine from.
There is only one Powerfest '94 cart. The one zeldas_nexus is talking about is the person I bought it from. There is a picture on my website of me and jollyrancher (the person who found it at the garage sale of a Nintendo employee). DreamTR bought the Nintendo 1992 Campus Challenge from him and I bought the Powerfest '94 and the Super Nintendo 1992 Challenge carts from him. I hope this clears up that there is only one of the Powerfest '94 carts.
sweet jesus! Rare for sure and would be awesome to own but come on 50k even for the only one in existence is nuts! I could see it getting a few grand more than the nes champ carts which come in around 10k but 50k? Nuts. What did you pay?
Only one? Sure. Rare? Oh hell yes. But not even dreamtr would pay $50k for something like that lol
I paid $10,000 for the Powerfest '94 cart. The person before me paid practically nothing for it at the garage sale of a Nintendo Employee. I have heard of the NWC Gold Carts going for around $20,000 and there are around 20 of those. I don't know if the Powerfest '94 cart will sell for $50,000 at this point in time. If it does I will be very happy
If not I will be happy to keep it in my collection a bit longer and continue to be the only person in the world to own every US SNES Competition cart.
Most a gold cart ever went for was $15,000. Anything above that is all lies.
It still boils down to demand and lore on the item. Again, rarity is not a factor aways because if it was, unreleased protos would be worth just as much.
The NWC is the holy grail not just for rarity but its lore. It is highly unlikely anyone would pay more for any other Nintendo cart. Esp one most people know almost nothing about.
Eh, I think we've summed it up already..
