I have a question, notice the mattel football cartridge, it has a white label with black letters, instead of the normal black label w/blue letters that mattel 2600 games normally have. Is this just a variation or is it supposed to be this way? Please help thanks!
You'll notice the 2600 Star Raiders complete I got today. Woohoo, its very nice too, only thing is, its missing the comic book , other than that its top notch condition. The Imagic game is Fathom.
After a couple of busy weeks without looking, I had some finds today.
At the flea market:
A Japanese Bomber Man game for N64, $15
Mouse Trap (w/ a sticker on the back saying, "Bonus Cartridge included with Gemini Purchase. Non-Refundable") for 2600, $2
StarGunner for 2600, $2
Beauty and the Beat for Intellivision, $2
Quickshot joystick, $1
Tandy joystick, $1
At the thrift store:
FF:Mystic Quest for SNES, $3.99
Drakkhen for SNES, $3.99
Dinosaurs for Hire for Genesis, $1.99
Also, for free I found a box with instructions for Demon Attack for the Vic 20. Unfortunately, no game inside.
My game suppliers ran out of some item or other, so they let me have two pretty nondescript original MSX (i.e. 1985) titles AND
Gargoyle's Quest 2, Japanese Version (c. 1992--was there a reprint? That sounds late to me, but then again it doesn't seem to be)
in place of that. Basically, I got Gargoyle's Quest, complete with a perfect cartridge and manual, for $10.
Not a bad catch.
Not much...don't have any money...
Gekioh
Magix Music Maker
both for $10 total at Toys R Us

Do you mean Yu-Gi-Oh? Don't kill me if you hate that game and I don't know of Gekioh, but that's what it sounds like.Originally Posted by scooterb23

Boxed NES Action Set $8
N64 steering wheel and pedals $5
@ Ed - Just played Gekioh a little bit. Pretty good...not as frantically paced as some of the shmups I've played lately, but a lot of fun. I acutually enjoyed having more firepower than my opponents for once!!!
I definitely recommend it, especially if you get it in the 2 for 1 sale at TRU.

Thanks man! Nothing quite like a stream of fire from your direction taking up a quarter of the screen to warm the spirit :)
