ok then it looks like i will be getting one then..also hey is the quality better if you get your sega saturn modded with s-video rather than just getting a s-video cable for the sega saturn..like i have it hooked up that way..but i was just wondering if i get it modded for s-video would it look better..

To answer your question on the Saturn, no it would not look any better. It would be the same or worse depending on the quality of the install. Best bet is to simply purchase the Svideo cable for Saturn

I know I sold one (modded genesis 2 with controllers cables and games) on eBay for about $31 a few months back. =)

I won't be selling anymore that way though. For the time it takes and cost of parts, PP and Ebay fees, I could do better flipping burgers for minimum wage than what modding that Genesis and selling it on eBay paid. =) One shot deal that one. Lesson learned.

I heartily recommend ooXxXoo for the work. OSG is no longer focusing on such jobs, and retro-console is in the USA anyway. I hear he's quick to respond to communications, and is professional.

Hey, I just did a test-run of a Genesis 3 S-Video mod, and it looked awesome but I was wondering what kind of S-Video connectors the "pros" use to do their mods, and where could I get one?

Is there anything that is easy to mount like with a large nut/bolt type setup like guitar jacks have?

I de-soldered one out of an old motherboard and it works fine, but I haven't mounted it yet, the Genesis 3 is rather short on space, and I'd like to find something sturdy before I drill the case and make it more permanent.
