That pretty much sums it up. Here's the link to his blog.
At least he finished (deep breath) Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD before leaving/being asked to leave.
Here's hoping he lands at a better developer.

Wow, I'm the first reply to this?
I agree with the sentiments, TurboHD looks amazing and is the main reason I want a 360 eventually.
Maybe he could get over to Playmore... smack 'em around and tell them to PUT KING IN XII DAMMIT.

Holy crap. It's been a while.
All I can say is this:
Who?
He's one of the driving forces behind the Evo fighting game tournaments, a truly excellent tournament-level Street Fighter and Guilty Gear player, and a game developer.
He's written, recorded, and posted some interesting ideas and theories about game development, specializing in game balancing. He's the guy behind the Street Fighter II video tutorials on Capcom Classics collection (also viewable on YouTube and his website, www.sirlin.net), and was the driving force and lead designer on Super Puzzle Fighter HD and the upcoming Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD.
He's definitely an arrogant douche, but he's a very very smart and eloquent arrogant douche. I often wondered what the Hell he was doing at Backbone, which is a genuinely shitty studio.
I'd encourage anyone to browse his site. Just beware the comments that accompany most of his articles: the people who regularly post are even more rabid and crazy than the regulars on GameFAQs.
