well, they don't count as they're different games, I was talking about the original Sonic the hedgehog.

It was also ported to Sega master system, Gameboy Advance and mobiles but (IMO) doesn't count due to differences between these ports and the original.

Counting compilations, unlockable hidden games, and Wii Virtual Console games is far too loose. And you left out the Master System version.
