    Default Custom N64 End Labels

The N64 cartridge is terrible. It's not as bad as the Jaguar, or M-Network 2600 cartridges, but it's still pretty awful. The biggest problem, is, the lack of an end-label. Cartridges without end labels are just madness.

Knowing about the various sites that offer things like alternative / replacement clam shell sleeves, or sleeves for systems that never had them in the first place... I figure there has to be a site out there somewhere with really nice N64 cart end labels I could print onto some sticker paper, and make it easier to browse through N64 cartridges.

    Anyone know of any?

That is so weird you brought up this topic, because I've been wondering the same thing myself the last couple of days...

I was thinking about getting that sticky clear plastic that's used on windows. It would allow me to make end labels that are removeable without damaging the carts. I can stick the sheet in the printer just like any other paper.

This was specifically why I started collecting boxes for my N64 games.

I use a Dymo labelmaker for my N64 carts. Works good and the labels come off pretty easily if you decide to take them off.

The best option I've found here as well. I use the white plastic as opposed to the paper. The Dymo is also great for when you have to store Genesis and SNES carts up-ended to save space, or if you want to more easily manage your AC Adapters. Anyone who is anal about this sort of thing should definitely go the Dymo route.

I think anything you do with an end label on a N64 game is going to look tacky. Here's what I'd like to see: Clear plastic cases that are not much bigger than the cartridge themselves. Those huge rental cases you see people use sometimes are too bloated imo. I imagine the case would need to look somewhat like cassette tape cases and allow for you to print artwork.

Just burn the name into the top of the cart with a soldering iron.

    Watch your splellings.

Or you can just lay your collection of N64 carts flat like I do. I only have about 15 N64 carts though...
