On the fence for a ps3

Valkyria Chronicles and Little Big Planet are, in my estimation, worth the cost of the PS3 all by themselves. I can't answer for God of War 3 or the vaporware FF XIII games, since they aren't even out yet, but Folklore is decent, too.

I only bought mine because I got it for cheap. I like the Blu-ray player, and I like that I can download demos for free, but I do not own a single game for it. I can't really reccomend the system, although obviously nobody's tastes are the same.

Don't do it. Save the money and go buy a used Atari 2600, Nes, Snes, n64,Dreamcast and Ps2! And a couple games for each! You'll never need another system.............. for a little while.

I own both a 360 and a PS3, and the "no games" argument for the PS3 is getting really old. Since the majority of both libraries consist of third party multi-plats, it's no longer a valid argument, especially if you don't own either system. And honestly, I don't see how the 360 has 'so many more quality exclusives'; there might be literally only be 2 or 3 more, and whether or not they're better than what the PS3 has to offer is subjective. It really comes down to which system's exclusives fit the individual's tastes.

What IS a valid argument against the PS3 is the Playstation network. Xbox Live is vastly superior, and I don't think anyone can really dispute that.
