This past Sunday, I finally stepped into the next (current) generation of gaming. I don't have the cash to spend on the newest systems, so I usually just spend time catching up on games I missed. I was in the middle of Psychonauts and Ico when a deal I couldn't refuse came up;
I been trying to sell / trade an arcade game I bought for $50. It was In The Hunt. I started a couple threads on it before. Well my dads friend offered to take a look at it and fixed the scrolling issue it had. So now it works great. I posted it online for $300 or best offer.
Someone offered a 360, a new version with the HDMI port, a wireless controller, 20g HD, and PDZ and Prey for an even swap. Since I only paid $50 for the unit I juped on it.
Not bad eh? I know Prey is only like $5 bucks right now but I don't think its that bad. I'm not a Perfect Dark fan but whatever.
I borrowed COD 4 and Halo 3. I think Bioshock is going to be my first purchase. I'm dying to play that one. Once we actually get broadband at our house (dial-up still only option, FiOs coming soon!), I'll be on Live.
I used to play Halo 1 LAN games at a friends house every weekend, those died out and I realized while playing Halo 3 last night my dual analong FPS skills are pretty rusty. Don't know how I'll fare on XBL.
anyway,
