Yep, I lost everything too. If Home were worth a damn, I might care though.

I've been in since the last round of the closed beta and every update/patch they've done has caused arcade based rewards to "reset".

Honestly, they're not that hard to re-win.

All of the free merchandise that I got from the mall (my summer home, furniture and clothing) all stayed.

    Nope.

A day or two before the beta went "open" those of us in the closed beta got a note to "stock up" on everything that was in the stores.

It was all free for a few days. (Presumably to test the download server loads.)

I read that voice chat was taken out, too? Is that true? I'm gonna have to speak with my PS3 friends and see what else they screwed up. On the topic of things disappearing, I would think that Sony would reinstate that stuff. No company is that stupid.

If I had to GUESS why the voice communication was taken out, it could be one of two things:

1.) widespread instances of abuse...though this is nothing new for online gaming/social networks

2.) users eating up TONS of bandwidth by holding down their "chat" button and piping non-stop music through the servers via their own headset/mic.

I think option #2 is the more likely choice ... and honestly, I could care less if they leave voice chat out in PUBLIC areas permanently.

Idiots are less likely to take the time to type hate-filled rhetoric out. (Not that they won't ... but it's easier to shout things out.)

I lost that gumball machine I got from the one center area(can't remember what it's called.) I went to look at it again so I could get it again but it wasn't there anymore.
