Here's my first find of the year:
- X-Men 2: Clone Wars (In a case for Sonic 2): $.75
Though the label had been torn completely off, I bought it anyway to see what it is (You never know; it could have been a prototype or even Phantasy Star IV).
finally tracked down a copy of limbo of the lost - didn't pay too much for it. cool coversation piece.
Not really a find, but I did get something gaming related... new 320gb/7200rpm/16mb cache hard drive for my PS3... stupid old one felt like dying on the first. Y2K9 virus??
My first 2009 find is a nice one: NES Top Loader and accessories for $50 from ebay. I hit "buy it now" within 10 minutes of him listing it so my timing was great.
The nice thing is that this is from a local seller who I bought an XEGS and some Atari games a couple of months ago. Since he's local I didn't have to pay shipping.
I've been strictly an Atari collector until this point. Now I have a new system to start collecting for

Today, I got King of Fighters 95' and Mr. Do!, both on Gameboy.
King of Fighters was 75 cents, Mr. Do! was $2.50.
Something I noticed is that my Mr. Do! has the part number as DMG-M4-UKV, does this mean it's the European version?
I'd wager that it is.

Final Fantasy 7, Black Label, disc one a little scratched and no manual.
The guy didnt want to sell it separate from a PS2 package, he wanted a $100 for it so i offered him $10 for FFVII. He took it.

Technically December & January finds but I'm just now getting around to posting pictures. Most games are from clearance at Walmart (anywhere from $5 to $15) except for Little Big Planet which was bought for full price (and is awesome). There's also a Spider-Man 3 for PS3 but I forgot to take a picture of it:
Those Mario boxers are kick ass.
Flea Market:
Cold, but not crazy cold...low turnout of vendors.
The first thing I ran into was an arguement between a frequent customer and a vendor,,That same old vendor who I've told off in the past..The customer was telling the vendor off about him selling him a bunch of non working junk and the vendor giving him a sob story.
Playstation ELEMENTAL GEARBOLT..complete,not scratched $2.00
This was stood up like a display on top of lines of boxed of CDs..I looked through all the boxes but only found one Madden game.
This game I have been looking for as I mentioned in the DP trade in topic..,I sold it once and kick myself for it..I have never seen this in the wild.
Namco Guncon 2 with that special wire $2.00
Dreamcast lightgun $2.00
Xbox 360 DOA 4,Outfit.PS2 007 ..$1.00 each..
Ok,these were in a pile of games...but no games in the cases,,,,demos were in the cases.
I grabbed the only two 360 game cases with demos in them and the PS2
The 007 I gave a loose disc for ..DOA 4 I have the Platinum edition of and I HATE the box art so I'm switching it.
Outfit I own but I'm using the case for a cracked cased game I have.
$20.00(all the junk in the box)
Black Gamecube with GAMECUBE GAMEBOY PLAYER ,but no GAMEBOY PLAYER CD(I'll get one-Got one LMK..)
Three Controllers.
AC Plug
AV
RF with adapter
Gamecube memory card
PAPER MARIO GAME(no scratches
Super Mario Bros GBA game
Cablewire
Atari Flashback System
Weird Controller/Looks like a TV game, has a battery compartment on back but the yellow and red wire ends are headphone type?????
The vendor wanted $35.00 for just the GC,I just wanted the Gameboy player..I offered him $20.00 for the whole box and he said..OK>>
The box that this stuff was in had some invoices in it under the lower flaps from a recent XBOX 360 Bundle purchase from Costco, and Halo 3 game..
The box was the actual shipping box to the customer as it's address matches the paperwork..there's was a small xbox live paper inbetween the paperwork consisting of codes for three free live games..
Atari Flashback System.I actually have an empty box for in the closet...
Passed>
SNES(dirty) mini system with two controllers..$15.00,NO plug or AV...I watched as the vendor dug the controllers out of a big pile of wiring, waiting till he got the whole thing out hoping he found the whole thing...I asked him how much,$15.00..I asked where's the rest-the ac and av?...It's not in the pile of wiring.
He would not go any lower..I walked to the next vendor and found the GameCube deal..($for $20.00
Walked back over to give the SNES vendor another offer of $10.00 and he sold it within a minute..Someone must of been up my butt when I put it down..Nonetheless I didn't want to spend $15.00 on it like that I got a better deal next door..
Vendor and his Son...eating,they had a big pile of DVDs on the table with mixed in PS2 and PS games($5-10)..I looked through what I could as the wind just kept blowing them off the table..Loose DVDs,CDS and booklets were flying off the table like crazy and getting stepped on crashing to the ground..Within them were PS booklets for hard to get Games/FF7/Chrono etc.. but where were the games?
I started to try and pick up what I could to be helpful but the vendor and his Son could care less they just kept chewing down on their food..they paid no attention to what was going on..I looked through what I could and left..Thinking:this guy could ask ($5-10) for the items yet not care one bit how much gets destoyed.....
