Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (Gamecube)

Finally beat it. It took less than 7 hours to beat, but I had a hard time getting into it. It's kind of difficult to, when the plot sounds like a fanfiction and it has horribly linear gameplay. It's still worth a playthrough though.

Dragon Quest. I used to love this game, my first RPG, once the PSX came out and all the RPG titles I've played on that system I grew less and less fond of it, now I think it's one of the worst RPGs of all time.

The SNES version is probably the overall best in everything but music and obvious gameplay which is the same as the GBC version. The music, while higher quality on the SNES actually sounds better on the GBC(composition wise.) The town music is better on the SNES version though, the rest I'd take the GBC version.

The world design and the music are still amazing though. The world map being as the second part of Dragon Warrior 3 will always be the best part of the original Dragon Warrior.

Eh, sorry for misunderstanding but what do you mean here exactly? DoDonPachi has 2 loops of 6 stages, 12 total. This is an incredibly difficulty feat to accomplish, I know of two people in the West (outside Japan) who've done it. So, was this both loops (12) or 1 loop clear and on credit?

Another great game, another great story. This is one of the SNES classics, made new by the Virtual Console. Worth a playthrough, but I'd consider using a Classic Controller. GCN controllers suck for VC SNES games.

Another good addition to the series, although I would say this is one of the hardest, if not the hardest, game in the classic series that I've played so far. A number of the levels feature those notorious jumps that the series in infamous for, so if you're not right at that edge you're falling to your death.

Edit: Having not playing Chrono Trigger since the SNES days, it was nice to go back and run through it again. I have to say that the game is every bit as good as I remembered it. I was sucked in and fully beat the game's original content in less than a week. I still have the new dungeons that were added to the DS version, but I'll likely save those for another time.

When I was a kid I played a lot of Sega, but played a select few games non-stop while the Nintendo collections grew faster. Maybe my Genesis collection grew slower because I was satisfied even though I had so little on it.

Just beat Felix the Cat for NES about an hour ago. This is the first time I have played it in months. Really fun game but not very hard although I found a few levels a little challenging. Im gonna try to squeeze another beaten game in before the end of the year I hope.
