Hmm...could it be PAL?
Nice post count BTW. 1964...last year there was silver in U.S. quarters.
Good history Anyway, perhaps PAL, but the seller was from Oregon. I dunno...but I want it! It was only listed for a few minutes when it was, which leads me to believe the high bidder convinced the seller to end that auction.Originally Posted by Ed Oscuro
Heh. Yes, it was released for the US TG16. It's VERY VERY rare, easily as rare as the PCE one, probably rarer. Figure on spending over $100, and probably over $150 for a copy assuming you can find it. I've actually held a sealed US one in my hands, and played another copy (it's a LOT like Cotton), I KNOW it exists. Just THE rarest huCard for the US system.

Wow! This had to have been the very last hucard released for the system then witha date of 1993? I know Neutopia II was 92, and Bonk 3? Or was Bonk 3 in 1993? Either way, I would love to get my hands on Magical Chase US!Originally Posted by maxlords
Well, rare or not, it went for $40.
Somehow I doubt it. The auction was only up for a few minutes. I think maybe the high bidder emailed the seller and offered him some high amount to end it early (like $100) but that is just a guess.Originally Posted by Ed Oscuro

I'll give you the link again. Don't you have a DP Guide?

COMPLETE TurboGrafx-16 list, and there's a PC Engine list in there as well. No need to be "confused" by this stuff, it's all been well documented!
The rarities aren't in the online TG16 list though :-)
They are in the PC Engine List though. Joe, why are these seperated if all the PCE games are in the TG16 list?

If it's in the book, you won't get the details like rarities - you get "lite", a complete listing with manufacturers. It states this at the top of each such section. Until all of the books are sold, you won't see more than a list. BUY A BOOK ya cheap bastids!
Hence, PC Engine must NOT be in the book. And lo and behold, it isn't.
Yet.
Game on. And open yer wallets!
1964 was also the last year to have pure silver in the dimes. And 1979-81 were the only years which had Susan B Anthony dollars. Actually, I think a small amount of 1982 SBA were minted, but only for proof sets (?)
Yeah, I've got a few of those dimes. I suppose the silver started out pure, but the dimes themselves were partly silver and partly copper.Originally Posted by TRM
Is it just me, or did anybody else like it when there actually were complete game lists available here? >(
I would, but I only collect for one of the systems in the book (NES). Thus, having a price guide for all the other systems I DON'T collect for would be a bit of a waste of money, eh?Until all of the books are sold, you won't see more than a list. BUY A BOOK ya cheap bastids!
But hey, I win either way right? I mean, this way, I have all the rarities for all the systems I collect for (with the exception of NES) for free!
Um, hello?Originally Posted by Ed Oscuro

I DO own the guide. I was only saying that for the purpose of this discussion where you say
I was only saying that since the TG16 *online* list doesn't have rarities, this is the root of the initial confusion. So, if he had the guide, there would be no confusion, but when you point him to the online guide where, as you say, this confusion is supposed to be cleared up, it does no good. Not much point there if there's no rarities listed there. It may be well documented, but not in the online version.COMPLETE TurboGrafx-16 list, and there's a PC Engine list in there as well. you will rarely see a copy of the us release, and recently hu+manual have been hitting the 200-250 range on ebay. box is hard to find and this title being a late release did noy have a jewel case. if you ever check the turbo message list, you will see not many people have this, and they can attribute to its rarity.
