Default A Buyer's Guide To A Console Generation Past

    Kotaku's got a buyer's guide for last gen's systems.

Very interesting. It talks about how to go high-def and which accessories and games to pick up. It's neat seeing a buyer's guide treating last-gen as if it was current.

That guy really knows his shit, great write up and he really picked some great titles to represent while still picking a few obscure or less popular ones to highlight the creative titles.

A really true article, there really isn't much difference when you look at the big picture as far as this genreations difference to the last.

    Well, more bump mapping.

I read this earlier today, I'm gonna look into the games on his lists that I haven't played yet when I get around to buying stuff for those consoles again.

Nice to see such an up to the minute site take time and show proper respect to the last gen.

Good article, a lot of solid game recommendations. Too bad he said that the first official wireless controller ever was the Wavebird though. I THINK Sega beat em by a year or two with the wireless Genesis controllers. And if they didn't, they beat em with the wireless Saturn controllers or NEC did with the wireless PC Engine controllers...

Good read, can't help but feel the people who will read the article are mostly the people who've played all those games to death anyways.
