Default FS: Video Game System Collection. [updated May 19th, 2011]

    May 19th, 2011 update!

A lot has happened in the last two years when I ran out of personal time to sell my collection for Northwest Harvest. But good news! The Seattle Retro Gaming Expo is coming May 28th and May 29th and all of my remaining consoles and games (there are a lot) will be sold and auctioned off at the event (100% of the proceeds of my items sold/auctioned will go to Northwest Harvest!).

Head to http://jetcityretro.com for more info!

Everything below is outdated, but can give info on what was going on with my game sales.

here is a list of systems I have ready to sell...I'm selling everything in my collection. All money made from the sale of my collection will go to Northwest Harvest, a charity for feeding and clothing families in need based out of Seattle. Please email me at nolan.d.obrien@gmail.com. Do not PM me please, as my PM inbox cannot handle all the volume of PMs being sent, sorry. Buyer pays shipping (Do keep in mind that systems vary in weight and therefore vary in shipping cost. Laseractive is heaviest and will be the most expensive, rca studio 2 is the lightest will be the cheapest.).

What are you buying when you buy from can_dude?

Aside from buying a piece of my collection which has been a large part of my life for some time, every dollar you spend will be donated to Northwest Harvest. What does that mean? It means that I have spent tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours amassing this collection, and that I am not asking 1 cent of recompense in distributing the collection amoung fellow collectors. It also means that every $1.25 you spend feeds a family of four. Let's go further, and using a conservative estimate, say that every $5 dollars feeds a family for a day. That means if you buy $40 dollars worth of great stuff that will go really well with your collection, you are actually feeding a family for 8 days...I don't know about you but that seems huge. The point is for this collection to achieve a Win-Win-Win. Win #1, because it has been a blessing in disguise for me. Win #2, because it can be distributed to other collectors to help foster their (healthy) love of video games. And Win #3, because the money transacted in the distribution of these systems helps out many families.

See bottom of this message to see how collector's like you have helped to date.

Note: My Seal Loopys use a crazy power supply, outputting 24V DC and 1.2Amps...I replaced one of these and it cost me 70 (yes 70) dollars to get a custom built power supply. So I don't recommend getting a Loopy without a power supply because it's no small task to replace that supply.

    PM sent for Turbo cd

Also, interested in these when they become available. When the word "box" is at the end, does that mean that it's box is included or that you're selling just the box?

Just a quick aside... Given the sale, you might consider changing your .sig!

I'm assuming the XEGS doesn't have a keyboard because there isn't one pictured. If there is one included, please PM me.

I'll keep this thread in mind for later, you have some good stuff...

Does the Famicom Disk System work? Oh, and when you say box, do you mean complete in box?
