My friend in UK at the time was given one of these (above) on loan from his company he worked for in 1989. And they never asked back for it. Best PC to design fanzines on at the time :-)

Jobs is having some kind of hormone deficiency that's screwing up his body's protein levels. His wife made him go vegan several years ago. Coincidence? Steve just needs a good slow smoked thick cut ribeye. Steak - cures what ails 'ya!

I don't agree, lots of Buddhist monks are vegetarian or vegan, and they are fit as anything, and they will kick your butt to a pulp. Balance is the key.

Agree, but if you live 40 years eating meat and fast food and suddenly you become vegetarian the balance is lost, don't you think ?

I think nutritional needs vary sharply between individuals and that sweeping generalizations are of limited applicability.

I was trying to figure out what the topic title meant, given that the Twentieth Anniversay Macintosh was released in 1997, and then I remembered that 1984 was indeed twenty-five years ago. (Aside: does this mean we're going to get a new version of the movie starring Nicholas Cage as Winston Smith?)

The movie of Mr. Job's original unveiling of the Macintosh ("It sure feels good to be out of that bag!") is still out there somewhere.
