I don't think they'd want to race you as much as serve you as the main course in some cranberry stew. Also, count me into the column who doesn't like cranberry anything. Strawberry? Yes. Halle Berry? Hell yes. But cranberry? Ugh.

Have you tried a strawberry/cranberry sauce combo? That's pretty good too.

Did the PC version get canceled?
Capcom officially announced a PC version alongside the PS3 and XB360 versions, but never gave a release date.
The last thing I hard about the PC release was the typical vague 'sometime after console release' thing.

so let me get this straight... just because I chose not to buy an XBOX, PS2, Gamecube, XBOX360, or a PS3, I'm supposed to be an MS & Sony hater? I still own and enjoy my PS1, and I do all my PC gaming through MS Windows, so how exactly does that make me an MS & Sony hater? because I don't think it's necessary to buy 5 different systems to play all the same games that I can play on just one system, with it's own exclusive games to boot?

Firstly, last I checked YOU were the one who went to Midway, griped on their forum about them being blowhards for not supporting the PC market for a genre that rarely gets PC support here in the states and proceeded to call them dumbasses for supporting a big chunk of their potential market by focusing on the systems a probable amount of their fanbase own.

Secondly, the whole reason there isn't just 'A' console is because of those things called.... you guessed it! Exclusives (and capitalism, but thats a lesson for another day). Last I checked every system has its own exclusives which attempt to sway the market into buying that system over another one. Pretty much every Wii title I own (40) is an exclusive and every PS3 title I own (9) is exclusive to that system as well. Not to say that I don't have a fair number of exclusive 360 titles, but me going into that conversation randomly would be akin to talking about cranberry sauce and racing games in a thread about fighters. But at least I show the man by continuing to play my modern gen games on a tv made in 1992 using the good ol composite cables.

For what it's worth, Midway has never been big on PC ports. I don't think any of the games they put on Dreamcast had PC versions. There were PC versions of the MK games up to MK4, but that's about it.

To be honest I have no idea. i haven't paid attention partly because i really dont care about the game at all. I just assumed because I don't see why a company in their right mind would release a fighter for pc unless they are independent and are in need of a cheap format to release on (no licensing, no dev kits to buy, no need for esrb ratings)

According to Gamestop, the PC version of Street Fighter IV releases in June. The first 20,000 pre-orders receive a case of Paul Newman's Best Orange and Cranberry Sauce.

I always wonder what the prerequisites are for locking the thread. I guess I would make a terrible mod.

Anyway, the market for the Wii is very different than the general video game market. Typically my customers are parents or grandparents who are looking for something for their kids and grandkids and know nothing about video games. They also inform me that they don't want to know about the games, they just want something their kid will like. So I think in Midway's current financial state it was wise to only put its game on the two most profitable systems (in terms of 3rd party releases at least).

Color me impressed. Almost 2 pages of cranberry sauce related posts. However this has gone on long enough as I don't think Ocean Spray has enough cranberry sauce in stores to be prepared for our onslaught.
