Rumor: World of Goo Publisher Files for Bankruptcy Protection
Note that this is the RETAIL publisher. In other words, any digital sales (Steam, the 2D Boy website, Wii, etc) did not go to them.
That being said, this is not surprising.
Huh, wild. I didn't know there was a physical publisher for them, I only knew of getting it directly from 2D Boy (i did!), Steam (for $5 cheaper just a few weeks later? CURSES!), or Wii (BIG SCREEN!).

I bought the WiiWare version, so developer 2D Boy got my money.
