The NES \^_^/
I'm at 368 games right now.
Also some specific games for the SNES, GB, Genesis.
Oh eBay! you are such a pain, I am addicted to you like crack cocaine. You offer things I cannot find in stores,You are the pimp, and we are all your whores.
I collect for every console except handhelds. Im not a fan of those.
I collect all things electronic gaming related like many here. My main focus however is classic handheld/tabletop games. I have had terrible luck finding these things locally at flea markets, pawn shops, and thrift stores so I have been forced to get all my handhelds on ebay. I plan to try out Philly Classic 5 and also a big HAM radio/computer flea market that supposedly has some good old stuff.
It will take me a long time to get all the classic handhelds I want, but that's half the fun of collecting. Actually acquiring all that cool stuff. The other half is playing and repairing these systems as well as bragging to my friends .
The only systems I have are atari 2600, nes, snes, genesis, ps1, game boy, and master system. The main system I am going for right now is the nes, but I still collect for the rest. If I see some good deals on games for a system I dont have, Ill get the games and hope to find the system soon after. By the way, I dont collect for ps1...blah

I Mainly collect NES cause its the first console i owned and that i have great memories of. But every now and than i buy some Snes or GB stuff.
I collect for al systems from NES and up, but a few weeks i decided to focus on the Dreamcast (but if i find anything cheap for any other console i buy it to ). It's a relative cheap system, it has an small library (216), it has lots of good games that still look and play good today, and all it's games are relative easy to find (i do PAL only). I still can buy loads-o-games here in town and eBay is full of DC games.
i am a straight up 2D fan.. i love Fighters, that is def my favortie genre, i also love 2d Side scolling games, like Mario, Megaman, Contra, Castlevania etc.
I collect games for all console i own, but i mostly am interested in Neoi-Geo games, and collecting the fighters for that system.
anything I can find nes to present, $ allowing, maybe I'll get into imports someday. PS nice site!!!
New poster here. I'm mostly a Sega collector working on finishing my dreamcast collection. Down to 21 needed but I also pick up any cheap games for my other systems, my PS, snes, n64, xbox, GC, 2600 et cetera.

as far as for the SEGA CD, JAG, 3DO, and PS1 big boxes, if I see em and I don't own em, they get bought.
Every thing else I just kinda grab what looks cool.
**PICTURES AVAILABLE** will post on ebay once i have a reply
NOT A DICK SMITH WIZZARD!! OR ANY OTHER VARIATION! Has two joypads which combine to a QWERTY keyboard! comes with single classic game "Space Invaders"
Great for one who has no starting base for Creatiivision and is looking at getting into it! Great because it only has a small game collection, all of which are very rare to come across.
Will sell for cheap, as i have no interest in the collection of older gaming systems. NOMINATE a price!!!! I live in Australia, and will send to anywhere, so long as you pay for the P&H.
Very good condition, however the boxes have been misplaced. woodgrain sides, classic machine. I've spent many many hours on this one.

Seen this thread a few times, surprised that ive not posted in here yet.
I've got a decent number of systems, and a fair share of games for all of them. But I really collect only a few... My older systems, though loved are not really played much, and i'd rather buy for something that i've got a decenly high chance of playing.
PSOne (hands down winner)
PS2
GCN
XBox
DC
GBA (kinda, I'll buy for it, but much more infrequently than my other main purchased systems)
And ive been known to buy N64 when its something good and complete.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
Some of My Game Collection Mah Mac n' Cheese Blog
NES mostly, cause I'm a 20-something year old who grew up with the best of the best, and I'm still playing with power! Also Atari 2600, 5200, a little SNES and C64. But sucky crap, up here in Alaska, the pickings are pretty slim indeed. But I try to get by. I did, on a happier note, just finish my MAME cabinet. I urge any of you who have some extra bucks and extra time to check out www.arcadecontrols.com. But now that I'm done with that, I switch back to NES mode!
Neo Geo AES, PS1, PS2, Xbox, GC, GBA, NGPC, Genesis, Saturn, SNES, Dreamcast and PC Engine.
I only buy games I want to play, unless it's something like Freak Out used for like $7 at EBGames. I really only play vertical shooters, 2d-fighters and RPG's. I mostly collect for the Saturn, PS1, AES, PS2 and Dreamcast.
I don't collect consoles. All of my consoles, except for my AES, are in gamers condition, and I don't have the money to buy various Dreamcast variations or funny looking PC Engines.
It's been a while since I've bought a full-priced PAL release. Feels good PAL games are meant to be bought from the bargain bin. All my money goes to American discussion board members, and Hong Kong and Japenese eBay sellers.
Right now, my focus is on SNES and N64.
I also have a PS2 and Gamecube, and a small collection for both (along with a small collection of PSX stuff) and I buy games for those when I find something I want at a good price, or a cheap game that looks like something I'd enjoy.
I'd collect for Genesis and NES, but lack of room limits me. However, if I found a great deal on one of those systems, I wouldn't pass it up.
I'm considering getting a GBA in the future. We'll see.
My interests are 16-bit, a little bit of NES and a few current titles. I have collections of Neo-Geo AES (complete), LaserActive (US complete, Jp near complete), Dreamcast (US sealed complete), Virtual Boy (US complete), TurboGrafx (just half of all 97), and 100+ Gamecube (only the best titles).
I also have a small number of games on Saturn, Jaguar, SNES, N64, Lynx, PC-Engine, Xbox, Sega-CD, these tend to be the games I really want to play rather than collecting.
I'm starting looking into Naomi, although officially the games are ported to Dreamcast, many games are in fact cheaper than their Dreamcast counterpart, plus the cartridge form is much more reliable for used products, it's known that used Dreamcast games have many issues from just tiny scratches. I know for sure I won't collect games of current systems as the ratio of junks on PS2/Xbox are disproportionally high (even GC) compared to most 16-bit systems.
Ideally I'd love to collect and aim for complete SNES/Super Famicom, PC-Engine (not US), MegaDrive (not Genesis), and Japanese Saturn collections, but realisticly they'll put me into bankrupcy and I'll have little time to even play all those games.

I mainly focus on Saturn, Dreamcast, Sega CD, Turbo Duo, PC-FX, and Playstation. I am just starting to collect Neo Geo MVS games.
