    Default Sega CDX Jumpy Screen????

I just got a Sega CDX. When I first turn it on to play a Sega CD disc the title screen sporatically jumps (the one with the earth) and continues to do it when Sonic is standing next to the SEGA logo. Just think kind of small earthquake effect like tremors. This keeps happening when the game is playing, but as time goes on it lessens and eventually quits doing it after about 3-4 minuets. Also, when the game is playing some screens do the jumpy thing and others dont. This lead me to believe the CDs were scratched, but it still does it on my perfect CD's. I shook the A/V cables and it doesnt seem to be that. Last when the unit gets "warmed up" I can turn it off and then back on and it DOES NOT do the jumpy thing. It will do the title screen perfectly and play the game perfectly. Im baffled????

Any ideas what might be going on?
