    It beat Halo Wars, Killzone 2, and F.E.A.R. 2.

    Default hmmm...

    I think it was the editorial in GI that got my attention as well. They suggested that perhaps some other franchises could benefit from the 2D artistry of SFIV. Metroid or Castlevania were suggested. Imagine the original Metroid with this type of 2D graphics. I think they are on to something...

    Well, Capcom "gets it". Unfortunately, Nintendo and Konami will only think of 2D in terms of DS games.

    True, but I was talking about A-list franchises (Super Mario Bros., Castlevania, Metroid). Essentially franchises that seem doomed to handhelds from now on.
