Got my first Double KO a couple of days ago; my Cammy vs their Fei Long.
Gott DAMN, I've encountered a TON of chippers; those players that run at you and JAB+JAB+JAB -> special move (or stronger punch/kick).
Also encountered my first disconnector: I picked E.Honda, he grabbed Balrog and I proceeded to mop the floor with him. Come round two, the match is suddenly disconnected. Pussy.

Dude, if the gave causes you so much strife, just stop playing it. It didn't take me long to realize that this game wasn't for me... so just move on! Personally, I've gone back to a classic. It's got the gameplay that I love, good graphics and music and great playability. Plus, my arcade stick didn't cost a hundred bucks
I suggest that you do the same.
I'll quit the game soon. Just need to get my rank under 500. I'm already rank 1501.

Nirvana, you should head to my friend's tournament in Northbrook. It's about 50 miles from you I think. Last tournament a couple of weeks ago had 70+.

Which makes me kinda want to ask...do you play ranked? Because if someone of my caliber can get to 8000 BP, makes me curious how you're doing on the leaderboards. I know I could check, but I'm actually not home at the moment.
Anyway, I'm almost done going through everyone's hard trials. I have to do the 5th trial of Crimson Viper, Gen, and Fuerte. Viper's trials are a pain compared to everyone elses, but when you get good at them, they're so damn cool.
Nirvana, I play ranked, but not much. I have around 6300 BP but I'm not really playing ranked every night or anything....
EDIT, ok, I checked, and I have 6680 BP with 203 Ranked Wins, and you have around 8800 with 666 Ranked Wins...That's a lot of playing =P

It would be nice if the multiconsole games you could actually play ranked from one system to the next. That way the ranked scores wouldn't differ so much.
A theory of mine would be that seeing as the 360 has much more of a US userbase, it's easier to get into a game. Atleast one third or one half of the high ranked people on the PS3 I get into are in Japan, Europe, etc, so usually they will end up kicking you out because of the match up speed(this is because distance of both players.) A reason why I think there are some people who may say the 360 has a better connection speed with most of their battles.
On the PS3 version. The top 1000 ranked people are 4000 or less(I'm currently 600 now with 5400 points.) What's your specific rank on the game Nirvana? I know you have 8000BP, so do you have a double digit rank yet?

Ah, lol. Damn. 293 ranked wins with 6680 BP...you could probably climb your way to the top o_O Also, I'm not gonna lie; I do multiple quick matches to warm up sometimes. Seeing me gain +1 BP isn't very satisfying, but I gotta warm up somehow, even if it means beating down people new to the game >_>
Kupo, when I checked my rank in the afternoon, it was 159. It changes very often, though. Also, my brother actually said many of the same things you just did, about how it would be sweet if you can play people from PS3 network. That'd be crazy.
No, it's 203, not 293.... =P I only have 203 ranked wins.
I used to play all the Street Fighter games online. The only one I played a LOT was Capcom VS SNK 2, where I had about 15000 games played and won about 84% of them....I stopped having time to dedicate to them like I did years ago, though....
