Yeah, I've noticed that sellers have lately been trying to really cut costs on packaging. I got a boxed Famiclone that was shipped in the system's box wrapped in brown paper. It came here in good shape, so I'm not complaining. At least they didn't put the shipping labels directly on the box.

    Flea 1 -

Playstation Hyper Blaster (Konami Lightgun) - $4

    NES Games - $5 each

    Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
    Dungeon Magic
    Swords and Serpents
    Megaman 3
    Megaman 5
    Megaman 6
    Athena
    Solomon's Key

A little pricey, but Megaman 5 and 6 are tradebait. So it makes up for it.

    Flea Market 2 -

Stack of PC Games and Dungeon & Dragons books - $19

Nothing really special, and the one game that looked really interesting didn't have the game in the box. Serves me right for not checking. Coolest part is that one game had a receipt from a game store I used to frequent. It was dated May 7th 1989 O.o

    Gamestop -

Prinny - Can I really be the hero? - PSP
Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ - DS

Some late birthday gifts from the girlfriend

It's getting harder and harder to break even on shipping via ebay, nowadays, but there's no reason the seller couldn't have put extra time into crumpling the newspaper and putting a bit more tape on the box. :/

My Lunar that I got the other day was shipped in nothing but brown paper, and it was fine. There's a world of difference between that case and these!

I had to go to the next town over to drop off a resume, so I stopped at a couple of shops on the way back.

I bought loose copies of both Shaman King: Master of Spirits (GBA) games for $6.99 each at the local game shop. After playing them for a bit, I noticed that the gameplay for them is similar to that of the Castlevania series. Considering that they're developed by Konami, it kind of make sense.

Anyway, next I checked out a pawn shop down the road. They had a copy of Pandemonium that interested me, but the disc was all scratched up, it was missing the manual, and cost $13. So I passed on it.

I don't want to sound like an old fart here, but can some of you guys tone down the pictures? It's kind of excessive when all of the pictures are like 1024 X 768 and you got five or six of them showing the same stuff over and over. Every time I check this thread to see new posts, I have to wait for all those pictures to load again before I can get to the bottom of the thread. I love seeing pictures of peoples' finds, but I just try to fit everything into one picture, myself.

    Okay, I'm done complaining.

Pictures should be required for this thread. That said, yes...the quoting of already-posted pictures does get ridiculous.

Agreed. Without prices, it's hard to be impressed by acquisitions.

At least people could resize their pictures to something manageable that could fit in a browser window easily. 800 X 600 would be a maximum size, 640 X 480 would be ideal.

I know I didn't need that many pictures, but I wanted to show the condition.

Then again, I like it when you guys post more pictures. It's nice when it's more "hey, look what I found, this is neat," than "I found this and it cost X. Period."

Bought this off of eBay for $9 plus shipping. That thing plugged into it is a microphone apparently, don't know how that would work on a computer with 16K...

Missing AC adapter. What can I actually use with this thing? I have a Jaguar one that outputs 9v of DC, is that good enough?

...what is it? I'm going to guess it's one of those British 80s computers that I've only heard funny songs about, but which one I have no idea. Can't really read the top label, picture's too blurry.

It's a Timex Sinclair 1000, the American version of the ZX-81.

Just checked, the Jaguar AC adapter has center polarity, outputs 9v, and is 1.2mA. Is that too much power for this?

    Oh, and awesome song.

Can't speak for everyone, but my pics came out WAAAAY too big, so I resized them and apologize. I usually put multiple pics to show detail or condition of items, as many times I'll see a post with 30 items in one pic and I can't really tell anything about any of them because they are too small. Now I'll always shrink mine to this size or smaller.

No way, big pics are awesome!

Just stop quoting pics in your replies, people.
