Isn't there like a Room of Doom topic?

Anyway, that's pretty nice. I get so jealous when I see setups like this. Totally beats my 360 set up in a room by itself, and my other room having an SNES and PS2 hooked up with no system selector.

It also puts to shame my "everything just thrown in there" room.

The pic is fuzzier than Ronald Reagan's memory(when he was still alive) but you have a nice organized set up. I use to have all my systems hooked up like that but now I go for quality over quantity and just switch them out when I want a change.

I *love* the color setup. So much so that I think I need to redo my room in the near future...

I like the little 'bar' you have in the far corner. That's an idea ... make an area for 'handhelds'.

I got a NES, SNES, Genesis, and PS1 hooked up through my VCR. The former through AV, the latter three through a coax splitter. The VCR is then hooked up to an AV selector, two of which are used running in through another splitter to my Sony DVD/VCR combo. Connected to these selectors are my VCR, DirecTV, LaserDisc player, 111disc CD changer, N64, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Wii. The DVD/VCR combo then splits the audio signal between the TV and my rear stereo (which again is run from the rear stereo to the front stereo) and the video signal is split between my TV and my computer (And of course the rear stereo also runs into my computer.) In addition to this, the VCR runs out through coax into a smaller 13" TV, and my Atari and TRS-80 are run into the back of my TV (for some reason they dont like it when i run them into my VCR)

Kinda hard to imagine, and there are no pics unfortunately as i started packing away systems (im moving soon) but in short, 8 systems hooked all at once up to my computer, TV, and 6 speaker stereo system simultaneously (which also has a subwoofer if i utilize an additional 2.1 stereo system from my computer. And then, theres the two speakers in my TV. its not the most hifi thing, im looking into a 360 first, then an HDTV, then a PS3, but im a long way off from getting all those :\

Just from an aesthetic perspective, it's a nicely furnished room.

    Indeed…

My games room is in my basement and resembles a "dungeon" very rustic, but fully functional…

that's a bachelor pad all right.. Blood red walls, black leather furniture, and video games... A woman would love to come in there and fix you right up.

    Cool room (apartment?) though =)

yeah man its my apartment, I used to have a basement that my ex let me have for my video games, but it wasnt cutting it, so I broke up with her and moved out... lol...

I got a new gf who moved in while this setup was in progress, she kept saying there would be no room and that it wouldnt look good... ha! i say... ha!

shelves are key to everything, if you have nice looking and matching shelves you can pack them all up together and everything else will fall into place... and having black leather sofas doesnt hurt either...

the room is still growing, as I look to add another shelf on the other side just for more room for games...

and its not like I make alot of money either, $13 an hour as a steelworker...

Thanks~ I have a 9foot by 9foot room. Not all of my collection fits in there. most of my systems are in the basement in storage because of the limited space.

I have a ton of space but I have to hear it from the parents when the encroachment begins.
