Hidden & Dangerous (PC) was pretty much perfect in 4p co op
Operation Flashpoint (PC) was perfect to begin with; the co op was just icing on the cake.
SWAT 3's (PC) co op was legendary (once they patched in multiplaye, anyway)
Rogue Spear (PC) was another pretty fucking wonderful co op game.

Blowing on cartridges since 1987
TMNT Hyperstone Heist is a fine game, but do you prefer it to Turtles In Time? These days I think I'm leaning twords Turtles In Time for SNES.
Oh yeah, that was another great one. I found one of those at a Nickle Arcade close by, but it wasn't working properly . Speaking of 4 player arcade cabs, Spawn:In The Demon's Hand was a really fun arcade game! Not too bad port on DC as well.
The Monarch: Hey, guess what? Nobody cares who would win in a crazy fantasy fist-fight between Anne Frank and Lizzie Borden. We never should have brought the henchmen. We're going to be the only ones there with henchmen!

Contra.
Your ad here.
Contra, Double Dragon, Ikari Warriors, Jackal, Streets of Rage, Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
Contra NES
Mario Kart Gamecube
Definitely TMNT Turtles in Time, the Simpsons arcade game, and the original Contra.
TMNT 2 and 3 for the NES were a blast too.
Can someone explain to me the complete lack of co-op titles in the 32B era?
And to a lesser extent, beyond.

Personally i have a lot of fond co-op memories with DKC 1, 2 and 3.

Every game can be enjoyable, you just need to be more creative with some then others.
The simpson's arcade game!!
contra
double dragon
x-men arcade
Turtles in time !
You know, I've pondered that myself. There are a few like Halo, or Gears, but co-op just doesn't seem to be as popular as it used to be. Perhaps the influence of internet gaming is a factor. I know there are a lot of games that can be played co-op, but only online. I guess getting together under the same roof to play a game just isn't very common...

Some of my favorites growing up:
Circus Atari (2600)

Contra (NES)
Contra III (SNES)
Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES)

So the internet has killed co-op for good? Seems close to it.
