Just read this on GamePro...thought others may be interested. I hope it doesn't happen, many people without a PS2/PS3 are really looking forward to this game.

Thats ridiculous. So Sony is basically saying, pardon my language, "FUCK YOU" to everyone who didnt buy a Sony game system. What a croc.
DERP
What goes around comes around.
Maybe they can work out a deal with MS to release their stranglehold on Oblivion, Fallout 3 and GTA4 "Exclusive" ( bought out ) DLC Content.
Edit*
I should probably note that I do own a 360 as well, but im not running heavy graphic games on it, the GPU on mine sits right under the DVD drive. Discs always come out toasty hot! That and the DVD doesnt eject all the way every time anymore due to the rubber heating up.

Atari confirmed to wired.com that it will distribute the non-Sony SKUs in Europe, so no need to freak out about this.
It would have been idiotic to put the resources into developing a port of a game and then not publish it. So, yeah, I doubt this is going to affect much.
This is a mix of good and bad news. On the positive side, it looks like the PSP port will be coming out after all. On the negative side, in Europe at least, Ghostbusters will only be available on Sony systems for some contractual amount of time. Once that exclusivity is up, the Wii and 360 versions will be released by Atari. So, it would suck if you were a European 360 or Wii owner who really wants the game in June when it launches.
Actually... I have wondered why the game wasn't Sony exclusive from the start. Same with the Spider-Man movie games. Both movie franchises are Columbia pictures, a subsidiary of...
....wait for it....
SONY!
Really seems odd they'd even let a movie franchise they own onto a competitor console.
Meh, I'll speak with my wallet. If it doesn't come out on 360, I won't buy it. If it comes out on 360, I'll eventually buy it. Either way I'll live. No need to get all crazy about it.
It's coming out simultaneously for all platforms in North America, while in Europe, it's coming out first for PS2 and PS3, followed by the other versions in the fall.
Here's what I read on wired.com:
Sony Computer Entertainment will publish Atari’s upcoming Ghostbusters videogames in Europe, delaying the Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS versions, Atari said Wednesday.
On June 19, Sony will publish the game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 in Europe and other PAL territories. A PSP version will follow in the fall.
Atari said that its North American launch plans will not change: The games will be released on 360, PS3, PS2, DS, PC, and Wii here on June 16, alongside the release of the classic film on Blu-ray.
In 2008, Ghostbusters developer Terminal Reality told MTV that PlayStation 3 was the lead development platform for the next-gen game.
Earlier that year, Sony’s head of software development Phil Harrison left the company to head up Atari.
Update: Atari told Wired.com that it will publish the non-Sony SKUs in Europe in the fall.
Things like that happen all the time, though. In other news, Sony's new Walkman PMP has MS's Live Search built into its browser as the main search engine. Why would Sony want to use MS?

Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
