Well, on the Genesis itself, next to the AC adapter port, there's a port for the RF cable that comes with it. Stupid question, really, but would a RGB cable for the Genesis 2 fit in that port? We never used RF in Norway!

The Video output ports on the Gen1 and Gen2 are different. If you have a Gen1 to 32X video adapter, that would allow you to connect your Gen2 A/V cable to a Gen1. Otherwise, you either need to find a Gen1 A/V cable or, if you're adventurous, you could dig a little deeper in these forums and find out how to install A/V plugs on your Gen1.
