My counterparts overseas got an offer for these as a closeout but we have no idea what they are. We can safely assume they're Genesis AV cables but no telling if it's compatible with American systems.

Hey if they do turn out to be compatible with us systems, ill take one.
They look to be mono Genesis cables. Have him check the pins.
You realize they still make those cables, don't you? There's a few retro game stores around me that have them, brand new in the box. They're off-brand Chinese made junk, but still, they're easy to find.
They might not be Genesis cables. The TI-99/4A, The Commodore 64, and the Atari 800 all used a similar connector. It might be that there's a few Japanese computers that used the same cable. You need to find out a little bit more before you attempt to import any. You don't want to end up with a bunch of useless junk that'll only work on something like the NEC PC-88.
They look like Genesis cables to me, but unless we can get a picture of the connector pins, you can't really tell otherwise, like Steve W said it could be a number of things.
It could even be for Neo Geo/Master System for all we know.
The size of the din plug (and mono audio) really makes a strong case for it being a Genesis 1 cable. Aren't those interchangeable with the Master System though, I thought? Anyway, yeah, gonna have to see the connector pins, and maybe even confirmation from the supplier on what pin is going where.
