    Default Wiimotes won't connect

Tried everything nintendo recommends online and even bought a new wiimote to try still nothing. That nyko power supply I bought after my oem psu died also broke after just a bit of use so I replaced it with another till I get an oem model in the mail.

Any tips for getting the wiimotes to work?

Did you hit the sync buttons on the controllers AND the console?

of course like I said I followed instructions from nintendo's site and numerous forums I was hoping there might be some other suggestions I think this wii may just be toasted so I need to look into repairs or a replacement and sell this one for parts or something

Have you tried throwing the remotes against the wall or onto the floor?

Have you tried putting your Wii or Wiimote in the microwave yet? That usually does the trick.

no although I've heard some of the new nvidia graphics cards for laptops can be fixed via baking in the oven! I just paid nintendo to repair it this way I get a new power supply and 1 year warranty.
