Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know that we're releasing a free UNALTERED proto ROM each month over on NA to thank people for their support of our projects. The first release for this month of June is Caesar's Palace!

Cool little ROM with a bunch of differences, please take a look (and a download) at the ROM over on NA!

It's good to see someone else doing this, I've been trying to release new things each month but time flies buy.

Thanks for the releases and for doing them unaltered. Even though you obviously feel differently on the whole watermarking issue than many, it's nice to see that progress has been made by talking the whole issue out.

I don't care about those that have had issues with the way we release games, this was not to appease them. On the contrary, this is to thank those people that support our projects, not those that voice their disapproval.

Thanks guys, did you guys find any differences between this cart and the released version? I always look forward to and appreciate these releases, as you guys have some good stuff floating around, and it is always nice that you share it with us. I cannot say that I am a large fan of Castelian, but hey, beggars can't be choosers, and so I won't complain! Thanks again.

So far we know that there are definitely some text differences on the title screen, but we don't know much (aka: anything) different beyond that.

We've been doing our best to have a very special ROM released, but we've hit a minor dumping snag that we should overcome shortly. It very well may be a mid-month release when it's all said and done.

Nope. This one was found in the wild by MachineGex at a flea market. It was found along with a Megaman 2 prototype.

Ahh cool, as always, thanks guys The one I had owned was also bought at a flea market, but now it is in the hands of a German collector, unless he sold it to someone. Similar label to the one I had too. I remember knowing of two of these, so I guess there are many out there.

I think there are at least 3 by my count, and I think all 3 that I know of have been dumped. I really do love this game, so I'm happy there are a whole bunch of proto ROMs floating around.
