    Default Strange NES issue

Yes, it's related to the dreaded 72-pinner problem.

Anyways, that copy of Litte Nemo: The Dream Master I was so happy to obtain is the culprit here. Though I have cleaned it to the best of my abilities, even doing the Weimen's Cooktop Cleaner trick, I can only get it to play with glitched lines running through the screen.

This happens on both my toploader and frontloader. Both systems show the same exact issue. Here's the kicker though: it works perfectly on my FC3 Plus famiclone. It's very odd for a thoroughly clean game to work so well on a famiclone but not the authentic systems. This is the only game to give me such trouble.

Now, on the connectors, there appears to be rust. It's not corrosion, as the Weimen's gets all of that off. It might be something other than rust, but whatever it is, I think it's the culprit. What can I do to clear it off? An eraser doesn't clean it as good as the cooktop cleaner, and I've tried it already. What else?

Sanding paper? 500 grit is what I use when I find something that I can't remove with solvents.
