Went to my local Goodwill again. I will never understand their pricing. A couple weeks ago they had some Genesis games and they were $1 each. Yesterday they had some more, but they were $2 each. The only thing that I picked up was a sealed copy of Microsoft FrontPage 98 for $2. Just something to play with.

It was sold for like 6 months before she sued, it came out later that she lied to be in the game showing them a fake ID. The game was put back on shelves (and in many cases never left the shelves). The only place that the game was truly banned for a while was eBay, where it wasn't allowed to be sold, and then only in the adult section.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Is it that hard to find? Last time I was visiting the US I went to a Half Price Books and they had -no shit - at least 10 copies. That was over half a year ago, though.

You should have bought all of them and shared them with the masses. Yeah I'm pretty sure they are kind of hard to find. Especially the knife cover variant.

American Idol Encore for both 360 and PS3
    Xbox Live Vision Camera

Considering I hate all things American Idol, you know those games(both factory sealed) had to be cheap in order for me to pick them up. The camera was cheap too but they are really hard to move on ebay, even factory sealed. I already have one so I might just use this one for my pc if it doesn't sell.

Don't list the guy game for xbox on ebay! My listing got pulled and got a strike to my account which means search standing goes down. its not worth it.

    Finds over a little while:

    TRU in Amarillo, Texas:
    Orcs and Elves - $5
Mega Man Star Force 2 Ninja - $9.98
    Bangai-O Spirits - $9.98

And, the best find of the day:
Marvel Vs Capcom 2 missing manual - $10

We got a flat tire in New Mexico and stopped in some little town I don't even know the name of to get it fixed. While they were getting it fixed I went and looked in the video store next to the tire store. I think it was called Video Shack. This place was really weird, it was a video store / tanning salon / smoke shop in one, and they barely had any DVDs, just stacks and stacks of VHS completely unorganized. I asked the guy if the games for sale and he said yeah, just bring it up and I'll price it. I looked around the game section and didn't see much, just random crap like the VHS section, but spotted MvC2 in the corner. Also saw a Kirby 64 box with no game in it (the only N64 game in the store) and brought that up. He said someone was renting Kirby, and I could have MvC2 for $10. Yay!

this cardcaptor sakura dreamcast limited edition game. It came with the game in a big box with a wall scroll, a plate, a spoon and fork, and a clock. All the stuff was sealed except the game itself, which was mint.

I tried to play it on my DC with utopia boot disc, does this not work for japanese games or something? I've only used it for burned games before. the cardcaptor sakura logo popped up on the screen with the floating moose but after that nothing happened.

    it was $20 at bookmans

    Goodwill:
    Green N64 controller - $1.99

    PnT:
BlazBlue CE 360 - $59.99 (had a bunch of credit here, gutted but in mint condition and I would just open it right away so I don't care)

    Pawn Shop:
    GTAIV 360
    Dirt 360
    Zelda Twilight Princess
    All complete and $10 each.

    Hollywood Video:
Guitar Hero World Tour WII complete
Naruto Rise of a Ninja disc only
    Bioshock 360 complete
    $4.99 each
Yeah, I was really late on that sale, got the last three games worth buying. Anyone know the TIV of GHWT at GS?

TIV? I'm not sure what that stands for. If you mean what are they selling it for, even their own website doesn't know.

    Here's one listing for it:

    And here's another:

Yes, Wikipedia is fun. Most definately a big waste of bandwith when it comes to crap like that.

I saw a Coleco telstar model at Value Village a couple days ago but it was missing control devices so I passed on it. it was 25 bucks. I chose the Bally Astrocade that was sitting above it instead for the same price. The opaque hatch is a little busted though on it and the model sticker fell over... And its missing the controllers. It came with 2009 Astro Battle though.

guitar hero world tour was pretty bad in my opinion, they never show the band when you play, they show that weird eye thing, and like the flying ship, its so weird, and the songs suck.

    Weekend finds & buys:

I got lucky waiting this long on BlazBlue CE. I know I still had a chance with online ordering, but I managed to snag the last copy for the Xbox 360 from one of the three local Best Buy stores near me.

The rest of the stuff came from a single vendor at a flea market this past Sunday. Some new temporary booths were set up and this one guy happened to have a small assortment of NES - DC stuff. Most of it was common stuff I already had. He was asking $5 a piece per game, but I started to act disinterested and place the stuff back when he offered $4 each. Why not?

I'm also hoping someone can answer a question. What's the deal with Sol-Feace? Was it sold in a large, cardboard box like other early Sega CD releases, or was it just sealed in that cardboard jewel case? I know I'm missing the manual, but is that it?

It was a pack-in with the original sega CD. AFAIK, it only exists in that little flip open packaging. I believe that mine came with the manual, but there's no real place to keep it in the CD holder, so it's just kind of loose.

If you want a fancy case and manual just get Sol-Deace for the Genesis. It's the same game.
