I picked up this crazy little Dreamcast-labeled TV this weekend. Maybe it's not so crazy, but I like Dreamcast promo stuff so I had to snag it.
I figured I might as well post my finds from last week here. It was a decent week early on; no really big finds, but still good enough.
- Yggdra Union (PSP. New): $20
- PSP USB Data \ Charge cable (PSP. New): $7
- Star Trek: Encounters (PS2. Used in very good shape): $4
Yggdra Union was my excuse to dust off my old PSP; it looked good from the back of the box and it wasn't too expensive, so I decided to try it. So far, I can safely say I made a good choice; the game is awesome so far.
haha, maybe drugs inside.

Nothing too much yesterday.
(NES) Bee 52 (100% complete) 0.99$
(GEN) Ms. Pac-Man (Tengen) 0.99$
Sony Playstation (no controllers) model SCPH-5501 Free from a friend who has five or so Playstations.
Curious, can anyone tell me why the box has a star punched into it? I looked on eBay and all boxed copies had the same star. Also is there anything special I could do with a Playstation model SCPH-5501?
Not a bad day really. The RE2 is the Dual Shock Edition and minty, although it's a double. In fact, I might end up selling/trading a lot of these off.
I'm jealous of the Super Chase HQ. Very jealous. I can't find anything Chase HQ related close to me at all, and I've been looking for it too. I never can find the stuff I'm looking for, but I find other stuff that is just as good.
Well, that's one of the games I'll be putting in my for sale thread if you decide you're interested. I literally don't have room for all of these haha.
i like that dk, i am now offically quoted in a sig.

Wal-Mart must have been clearing out the back room, had around 20 sealed GCN games in a clearance rack. All were Baten-Kaitos, Geist, or F-Zero GX.
Except for one. I picked up a sealed Beach Spikers Virtua Beach Volleyball.
Oh, and I went into Tuesday Morning because it's right next to Goodwill, and they had a bunch of XaviXPort bundles, but I passed on them. I'll have to look into them a little more, they seem interesting...

Ok i have gotten around to posting my finds all from saturday. The ps2 i haggled down to $20, no games, but it does have the network adapter. there is a bag of goodies with it, 2-3 memory cards, a dvd remote, the manual, all the plugs, etc. also it came with a cool soft nerf controller.
The gamecube was at the first house i stopped at, it was marked $30 i got it for 25. The system came with a black and white colored nintendo brand memory card. The games other than the 4 pictured are mostly sports.
The ps2 music games were $12 for all 3.
The rock band acdc and call of duty were $10 each. I am excited about getting the acdc, i have been wanting it.
The 8 sims 2 games were $25 for all. haggled down from $5 each.
The publsiher 2002 was $2.
the naruto dvd box was $5.
lastly 99% of the music cds were from one house. The box was marked 10 cents each. I got the whole box for $10. There are about 120 in the box. The same person was the selling the clapton box sets, the one was marked $1, and the other marked $2, lol, a steal. I picked up a few other cds here and there for an average of about 50 cents each.
The funniest thing is all this is from one community sale, and i bought it all before even 8:30. It was a pretty good week.

The Xavix Bowling bundle should be the first one you pick up. It's my favorite game for the system. It doesn't have the quality of motion sensing like the Wii does, though. It's got some sensors on the console and the cartridge has a few more on it, and it basically picks up on the reflective nature of the bowling ball. You can actually play the game with the boxing gloves that come with the Jackie Chan Boxing game, too. It's an interesting little system by a bunch of ex-Nintendo folks, from the middling days of the last generation. Plus, the peripherals like the bowling ball, boxing gloves, etc. all would look nice on a shelf in a game collection library.
Anyhoo, I went to a Movie Trading Company location today and bought a complete Alien Storm for the Genesis for $2.99, a Parker Brothers game for the Atari 2600 with the label peeled off for $1.99 (nearly always a Frogger cart, but it's always fun to find out what it is) and a Playstation ASCII Grip one-handed controller for $3.99. I bought this thing and while driving home it made me wonder why the Japanese would design a one-handed controller, and then I thought about all the T-and-A type games released in Japan... ewwwww. If I ever use this thing, I'll make sure to clean it off with Clorox antibacterial wipes.
I got this playstation 1001 model from goodwill with box but in bad condition, does anyone know the going rate for 1001 model playstations?

Picked up a couple things at a flea market before the torrential rains moved in today. I picked up loose discs of Blazing Heroes and Bust-a-move 2 for the Saturn for $5 each. The guy had quite the variety of stuff there, but his prices were high.

A few years ago the 1001 playstations saw a short spike in value when they became famous as audiophile quality level audio cd players. However today they are basically worth the same as a regular playstation one system. Maybe $20 if you are lucky. I have 2 myself, one is broken though unfortunately.
