    nothing personal.

my bank charges me $10 US dollars to handle Canuck currency. Most canadians aren't willing to shell out that much on top of shipping, nor do I expect them to. Also, those customs forms are a pain in the arse.

    Default Canadians stink!

But that has nothing to do with it for me. I trade with and buy and sell from/to 'EH'S' all the time. Many of my favorite long time traders are from the land of SCTV. In fact, my favorite comedy show is Kids in the Hall. I ain't fraid of ye!

    Tetsu:

Every item I have ever bought from the US, I have paid for with an International Postal Money Order in US funds. In canada, they are available at any post office, and from what I understand, are cashable anywhere in the US just like US money orders.

Just make sure that the auction must be paid in USD.

Now, for me, selling stuff to mostly the US is a big headache, but it's the only way I usually sell stuff. I don't know how many people have sent CASH after I specifically requested the 'Green' Money order. Or worse yet, they send the 'Pink' (US and it's territories) money order. It is almost impossible to cash those here in Canada. No bank or store will take them.

However, to all other Canadian sellers out there, there is one place in Canada that has cashed them a few times for me: Money Mart. Of course, you pay a few bucks just to get your money, but sometimes it's better than the hassle of returning the MO and leaving negative feedback.

I have always bought from canada, and i use money orders. they work all of the time cuz they're international. plus, ebay gives you the US translation of the money, so theres nothing to worry about.
Somebody once told me to get a life.

I told them I sold it for money to buy video games.

I'll quite happily ship to anywhere in the world when trading, although cheques and money orders can be tricky.

For people outside of the UK, I usually accept Paypal or US$ cash (which is pretty easy to get hold of wherever you are)...

Charlesaway- You got that mixed up. Pink US Post money orders are the International ones and green are the ones only cashable in the US. If you've been getting green money orders cashed all this time then you are lucky.

I was about to mention that too. I have had two US buyers send me green even though I say INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER (PINK/SALMON COLOURED ONE) yet they seem to have missed it.
It only takes an extra min for me to fill out the forms to send to the US too!

Personally I am one of those who prefer to sell to the U.S. only. Why? I've had some bad experiences when selling to those in Canada, it's a large hassle for something that could have been an easier task had in been to the U.S. instead.

Not trying to make any of you Canadians upset of offended, I have a very good friend who lives in Canada though you probably don't know her.
