    Default Quadrun

    Hi,
My name's Steve Woita. I programmed Quadrun for tha Atari 2600. I was wondering does anybody out there know the current value of a sealed boxed Quadrun?

PS: I just finished a shareware game for the PC called "Clickum" for the pc...If you like it & buy it, that'll help keep me from getting real job! Here's the URL so that you can download & try the game

    Thanks,
    Steve Woita

    Hi Steve

The prices on Quadruns have been dropping a little lately but I would still bet a complete originally sealed boxed example in perfect condition would fetch around 1K probably more if it was your personal copy and you added a personal letter complete with you signature and a little history to the package.

    Hey Steve...

I remember talking to you at last year's CGE about possibly wanting to sell one off

Seeing as a normal complete copy goes for around $500-600, then a sealed one would be approaching the $1k I'd imagine.

Oh and I'll be bringing my complete copy this year for you to sign

I'm moving this over to the main forum so it gets a bit more traffic.

Glad you could pop in, Steve! We're big fans of your work.

I'd agree with Mayhem on this one, I'd take no less than $1000 if I had one today to sell.

Yeah I'm sure a sealed copy would go for a bit, but a sealed copy signed by Steve Woita would probably go through the roof.

Might be a nice CGE auction item.

But don't sign the item itself. I think you should leave it in its original state for full value. If you want you can offer to sign it if the bidders so chooses after all the bidding is over.

Since we are on the topic. How many of these do you own?

I had steve sign my Quadrun cart last year at CGE (alright it was on the back). To me it only increased in value.

    Note the word "sealed" here

You know as well as I do, people bid silly amounts for still shrinked games

    Default QuadRun

Hi everyone, thanks for the info on QuadRun. I've got a few shrink wraped QuadRuns left (I think 2).

I'm thinking of bringing CDs of "Clickum" for the PC to the Vegas CGE. Do you think I should bother? I don't know if people would buy it. They would go for about $20. The CD would also come with other demo games to try out. Clickum would be the only full version on the CD.

How many do you think I should bring? 20 or so?

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to talk to everyone in Vegas at the CGE.

If you had a nice mint sealed copy I'd pay 1K in a sec.

I have a sealed copy but mine has a few indents and a couple small tears in the shrinkwrap.

I'd bring your new Clickum game (which is great, addictive fun), but $20 seems a little steep. I guess it depends on what else is on the CD. I tend to shy away from PC software, too, so maybe I'm not the best gauge for this kind of thing.

Hopefully you'll bring the Quadruns to CGE. I'd like to see one of them at the Saturday night auction, that would make a great piece to bid on!
