Bah, a month behind again... catching up with the second half of last month. Then I'll post this month's in the September thread. Things not from ebay were gotten locally.
Aug. 18th

Grandia (Saturn) (Japanese version of course) (complete) (from ebay)
Aug. 31
--
Legendary Wings (NES) (cart only)
TinStar (SNES) (cart only) (pretty fun lightgun game!)
Chameleon Twist (N64) (cart only)
Sept. 1
--
Dungeon Explorer (TG16) (complete) (from ebay) (Gauntlet is awesome and so is this!)
Wardner (Genesis) (cart only) (had never heard of this, but it's fun)
Golden Axe II (Genesis) (cart only) (I really love the Golden Axe games!)
DayDreamin' Davey (NES) (cart only)
Sheep (PSX) (complete) (nice Lemmings-ish puzzle game)
Sept. 2
--
a TurboGrafx-16 with base unit and broken CD drive (needs a new laser), from ebay; came with carrying case, system, base unit, controller, original power supply, AV cable, the CD System Card 2.0, Keith Courage (with manual), and Takin' It To the Hoop (complete). Now I just need that laser... but I was pretty surprised at how huge the graphical jump was going from RF to AV. Pretty nice.
Sept. 3
--
Marvel Land (Genesis) (cart only) - fun little platformer, nothing amazing but fun anyway.
later that week
--
Landstalker (Genesis) (cart with case, no manual) -- awesome, awesome game, I'd heard it was good but didn't know it'd be THIS good. $3 too.
the week after that sometime
--
from ebay, a lot of 10 disc only Saturn games.
Sega Saturn
--
Daytona USA (already have this one)
Virtua Cop (yeah, another second copy)
Virtua Cop 2
Die Hard Arcade (probably the main reason the price went up that high, but just a decent beat 'em up)
Sega Rally Championship
Battle Arena Toshinden Remix
VR Soccer
Virtua Fighter
Virtua Fighter Remix
Baku Baku (fun puzzle game that helped inspire Puzzle Fighter)
Mostly got the lot for Baku Baku, Sega Rally, and Die Hard Arcade, but Toshinden and Virtua Cop 2 are occasionally amusing.
several days later
--
Super Bonk (SNES) (cart only) - not so easy to find, it was very cool to see a copy locally... and I think the $8 I paid is well below what it'd cost online. Great game too!
last week
--
Action Replay 4-in-1 Plus cart (Saturn) (new from Play-Asia) (took a while to get here, but it finally arrived... awesome!)
Steamgear Mash (Saturn) (Japanese version of course) (from ebay)
J.J. and Jeff (TurboGrafx-16) (card and sleeve only)
J.J. and Jeff seems like a good fun platformer, apart from the very annoying backward warps... oh well. Steamgear Mash is fun stuff, fun little isometric action game. Great graphics!
9/29 (yesterday)
--
SNES
--
Breath of Fire (cart only)
Gamecube
--
X-Men Legends (disc only)
Playstation
--
Shipwreckers! (complete)
Dreamcast
--
Street Fighter III: Double Impact (disc only)
... SFIII is such an awesome game, it was fantastic to find that... and at $3 the price was definitely right. Those others I mostly got because they were cheap, Breath of Fire was also just $3!
Playing, because it's the best RPG ever.
