    Yep, there was also a different game of the same title (though somewhat related) for Amiga. It's mostly giant ants.

    I don't know if this counts to you or not but several of the Power Rangers games may fit that category.
    Genesis KOTM2 is actually a different game from the Neo-Geo/SNES title -- instead of being a beat 'em up/fighting game hybrid, the Genesis one is a pure fighting game, with no beat 'em up segments at all. Instead, you can play as the bad monsters as well as the good ones, so there are a lot of characters to choose from... on SNES on the other hand it's a port of the Neo-Geo game, and a quite good one too I would say. I like it better on SNES, but the Genesis version is worth checking out.

    Oh, and for It Came from the Desert, there's also a never released, but complete, Genesis version out there that Cinemaware has released for free. It's a different game from the other versions I believe.
