So, what have you found this month?
Please don't make posts about the bags of candy you bought at a store.

What happened to the tradition of whoever has the first find making the thread?
Starting to be like a YouTube comment list, isn't it?
Anyway, at about 1am this morning I brought home three of the 18,000+ Codes and Cheats books that Prima puts out. No big deal but they were defect and destroy so they were free - undestroyed of course.
Let the PSP go posts commence...
Well, I'm down here in Lake Charles, Louisiana visiting my uncle. I decided to hit a bunch of thrifts in town, and sadly didn't find much. A loose Truxton for the Genesis, and Primal Rage, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Johnny Bazookatone for the Sega Saturn along with a boxed Saturn Game Shark cartridge, all $4 each. Then the lady tells me she's going to let me have them half off! Nice. I stopped at the local Play N Trade and didn't find anything of interest. I did, however, find something at the Play N Trade in Beaumont, TX. I bought a Sega Mega Drive cartridge (loose) called Mega Games 1. It has Super Hang-On, Columns, and World Cup Italia '90 on it, and was all of 99¢. I have a couple other British release Mega Drive games, and it always amazes me to locate them in the wild. How'd they end up on this side of the Atlantic? And how did they end up in a game store in Beaumont, Texas? I wish the cartridges could talk and tell me their life story.
Of course! And I decide what they are.
A couple months back somebody got raked over the coals a bit for starting the thread without having a find, although I think he actually posted it before the month started, as well.
Well.
So is this thread going to get locked too? :P
Don't lock it. Here's a find from today at Play N Trade:
Pump it Up Exceed (Xbox) complete with mat - $8.99
Sega Bass Fishing 2 (Dreamcast) - $6.99
Wacky Races (Dreamcast) $8.99
Tomb Raider (Saturn) disc only $4.49
Fighters Megamix (Saturn) disc only $8.99
Brain Dead 13 (Saturn) disc only $4.49
Magic School Bus (Genesis) loose $2.49
Prince of Persia (Genesis) loose $2.49
Paperboy (Genesis) loose $2.49
Not great, but I never see much in the way of Saturn or Dreamcast stuff in the wild here unless it's sports games, so I grabbed em. Due to past trades, I actually already have manuals and back art for Fighters megamix and Tomb Raider somewhere, I just have to find them to make them complete!

I'm just going to ban the lot of ya..... Except Deadman and Insane David cause they had finds.
It would *seem* that someone who had a find that they felt was worthy of being called a find in their mind would create the first post and start us off. I'm not going to lock this and I think we can all see thanks to Sonic Wolf's gun jumping of a few months ago that lessons have been learned and all that stuff. Lets move it along and all that jazz.
Since we're gun jumping/posting before we've got finds bla bla bla i'll make this totally on point by letting everyone know that I got Kingdom Hearts 358/ 2 Days for the DS from Target yesterday. They gave me a 5 buck gift card (I think it's because I'm THAT awesome) and with that 5 buck GC, I got Halloween Candy for the office. (Take that Kitsune!)
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Woo HOO! I love being NOT banned! Almost as much as a really good find. Well, not quite as much as a find. Really, it doesn't matter that much about being not banned. You know what, screw it! BAN ME for all I care! Will that make you all HAPPY!?@?#? ..
....where are my meds again....

Fortunately for you, Kitsune, me, and all the other non-find-posting twits in this thread, this, IMO, seems to be the most easy-going section of the forums. Much easier to joke around here and not be mistaken (or taken?).
Er, um, anyway, I found Pick Axe Pete! and Speedway for Odyssey2. Don't come across O2 games much. I don't even have a system, but they were 60 cents each, so I couldn't really pass. About 2 years ago I found around 8 CIB O2 games, and both of these were in that lot, so they are for sale/trade, although I don't imagine they are really worth the cost of shipping.
Technically from yesterday, but seeing as I didn't really get the stuff until today,(Mom picked it up while I was at work). I took advantage of the Buy one get one 50% off sale at TRU and got:
Guitar Hero 5 - Game only - Xbox 360
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days - DS
Got the KH at half price and already filled out and mailed out my stuff to get my free GH: Van Halen.
I feel for you you an' all Kitsune, and Imma let you finish but I just wanted to say that SonicWolf had one of the best untraditional finds thread starting posts OF ALL TIME!
Kitsune-esque finds today, what with all of these CDs (laughs nervously).
They were $1.99 each. Includes PS1 Chess, The Music of Red Alert, Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Eve and Other Stories, The "Ultimate Collection" of Genesis Climber Mospeada on VCD (can anyone tell me if this is a bootleg? The case looks a bit off but the actual printing on CDs inside seem to be of good quality), Beyond Recollection Korean (boy band?) CD collection, Erich Kunzel & the Cincinatti Pops play William Tell Overture, and a ??? CD cause the whole thing is in Korean.
(Dear God, why do I keep on buying these Korean CDs? Most of them end up being either boy band or soul music.)

Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

Today, I found a Halo Edition Xbox with hookups and a controller for $50 at a flea market.
It had a very crappy looking and poorly-applied skin on it but I had no problem removing it.
